This Beer Braised Barbecue Beef recipe yields fork-tender, succulent beef infused with the flavors of beer and barbecue sauce. It's a hearty and flavorful dish perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients: 3 lbs beef chuck roast. 1 onion, diced. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 bottle 12 oz beer. 1 cup barbecue sauce. 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce. 2 tbsp brown sugar. 1 tsp smoked paprika. 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Add salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper to the beef to taste. Fry the beef all over in a big pan over medium-high heat. Put the beef in a slow cooker. Add the onions and garlic to the same pan and cook them until they become clear. Add the beer and scrape the bottom of the pan to get rid of any browned bits. Stir the brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and barbecue sauce together in the pan. Spread the sauce on top of the slowed-down beef. It should be on low for 8 hours or until the beef is soft enough to cut with a fork. Use two forks to shred the beef, then mix it with the sauce. Serve hot with your favorite barbecue toppings on top.
