what i really like about some (not a lot sadly) adaptations of Frankenstein is when they imply that Victor became ill after creating the creature
like this graphic novel!
it’s usually just called ‘a fever’ but still, i find it super cool!! i forgot if it was ever originally implied in the novel tho.
i like how it doesnt set Victor as the ‘super evil dude who needs to DIE’ but more as a man who tried something way more bigger than himself. i feel like people see Frankenstein and think ‘Victor bad, The Creature/Adam good’ on a whim. no one takes their time to look at Victors character. i dont know how to word it, but the implied fever makes me so happy and puts light on how Victor is human too and he misjudged how much power he held.
(also i dont want anyone coming on here saying that i like or support how he treated the creature, its obvious that he was in the wrong for that.)

“I now also began to collect the materials necessary for my new creation...”
Thinking about how Vic was taking an increasing amount of scientific equipment and human body parts across Britain with Henry.

Poor Victor, he's been replaced in Ernest's heart by someone who isn't even alive anymore.....and Ernest, he DID write!
