give me gentle villains. give me kind villains. give me villains who feed strays, who fund schools, who are loving parents. give me villains i relate to. give me villains responsible for entire graveyards but who rush home the second their wife calls them saying she's sick. give me villains who genuinely believe they're good and still have a distaste for gore and wield violence as a tool and without voyeuristic glee. who kill painlessly, only as a means to an end and nothing more. give me villains i struggle to hate, give me villains who are actual people with motivations and loved ones and insecurities and not just mindless overpowered monsters there to satisfy a hero's arc. give me villains, who, when a hero hesitates to kill, i actually understand why.
What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets.
Time to share one of my favorite game songs again.
There's two type of villains in the world:
Fairy tales villains who are always ugly or have some sort of physical "flaw" who make it seems like all ugly people or people with said physical "flaw" are evil
Pretty, beautiful ass villains who should make us understand we shouldn't judge on appearances but who we just end up simping for or adoring anyway
whenever someone uses my phone, they look at me like i lost my shit.
