Not IMMEDIATELY but I have a low tolerance for running into other pairings that involve part of the main pairing and that AREN'T TAGGED.

Like, the amount of El Paso Arc fic and Roommate Era fic (two of my favorite time periods) that I started to read and then suddenly had Buck hooking up with a rando in the middle of it WITHOUT IT BEING TAGGED have contributed to my ulcer.

And I was about to say, this is kind of only a Buddie thing, but NO. It's always been this way! Because back before I knew any better, I got into an argument with a Spangel author on their own personal website because they decided to have an OC become the meat in a Spike/Angel sandwich after like twelve chapters of him just hanging out for actual plot reasons and I didn't expect it and got REALLY UPSET. Upset enough that I still think about it, oh fuck, TWENTY YEARS LATER.
