It's that time of the auction again: fewer than 36 hours remain to bid!
We've got a truly enormous number of auctions this year – and that is almost entirely great! But it does have one unfortunate side effect, which is that figuring out who to bid on is actually a lot harder.
In the past we’ve gotten a lot of notes – a lot of notes – from bidders who were hoping to use the auction as a way to connect with creators in their fandoms whose work they don’t yet know. But with more than 800 offerings in over 400 fandoms, tracking those people down is a huge task, even with all the wonderful roundup posts you all have been making.
That’s why we’ve come up with a way to help you do it.
We have tagged all of our less-active auctions so that it will be easier for you to find and connect with these brilliant, creative folks and avail yourself of their talents. The tag we are using is “golden needle”; because finding them on the offerings blog is like looking for a needle in a haystack (or at least it would be, without the tag!) and because each of them is a treasure whose participation enriches the whole project.
And there’s another reason to peruse the golden needle tag, once we have it up and running: if you are interested in bidding on a creator but don’t have a lot of money to spare, this is a great way for you to connect with a fellow-fan, to get the fanwork of your dreams, and to participate in this awesome multi-fandom venture without putting yourself on a ramen-only diet for the next month.
You can find the golden needles using this tag (which is also in our tags list, and which can be cross-indexed with our other tags for fandom, fanwork type, etc. to narrow your search.)
Well the time is drawing near! Our coloring book will be ready and delivered to those who have already ordered it!
The BEST part is that this book will be available for a donation to a charity on the FTH 2023 list until December 31, 2023. If you have trouble with any of these website, contact me directly if you have a charity that works for you and we can work that out.
Cost is $5 or more donation to any of the FTH organizations for 2023! Please make sure that the donation amount is legible & that you redact your personal info. An email address is required so we can send you the link to the book!

Erica sets Stiles up on a blind date but the mysterious beau never shows up. Butthurt about it and definitely insecure about himself; Stiles absolutely refuses to talk to the infamous Derek Hale when they meet by chance at a party some time later.
They keep running into each other afterwards, and it slowly becomes clear that Derek never meant to hurt Stiles' feelings. He simply needs to deal with his own issues, namely: his older sister moving out of their family home to start a life with her partner, the suspicious Lydia Martin.
Against all odds, they might get to know each other after all and maybe, figure out whether they’re meant to be together or too messed up to find their special someone (read on AO3).

A/N: Written for Nina, for the FandomTrumpsHate2023 charity event. The prompt was "Post-apocalypse AU, Itafushikugi. While searching for food, Megumi and Nobara stumble across remnants from the past – Itadori is alive."
This AU is loosely based on the Trigun Stampede universe - it sort of ran away from me a bit, but it still gave me a good challenge to write some fun and cool world-building/action scenes. Thanks for your patience, Nina. Hope you'll enjoy! :')

Five days in, 1979 is already a difficult year for Sirius Black. Wartime is as bleak as British winter, but at least all his friends are still alive.
Or: Sirius Black spends an afternoon grocery shopping with Lily Evans as his world falls apart. The next day, he starts to repair it.

Here is my Fandom Trumps Hate gift for @annanother-thing, an exploration of Sirius Black's friendships with the women in his life, particularly Lily Evans and Marlene McKinnon, with a side of brotherly angst.
Hint: the brotherly angst has something to do with the canon-divergent tag. There is also background dorlene, who are a married couple well-established as prime war targets in their late forties.
