School rant

I try to keep this blog discourse free and not state my opinion on things, or keep my personal life out of it.

But I have a problem when my history teacher ( I’d rather not put my teachers name out on the internet ), yells at kids that ’ your not going to be successful in life ’ or ’ I might as well write your cardboard sign ’ and the ever classic ’ your so lazy ’.

1) school is supposed to be a safe place for us.

2) the golden rules all students have heard before: be respectful, be responsible, and be hard working.

Let’s go back a little my history teacher yells at kids the ones who generally slack off ( or who just gave up already because the American school system is fucking trash ) but does that give a grown goddam adult the right to basically say they are gonna be homeless? Fuck no.

’ quit being lazy ’ ’ I might as well write your cardboard sign ’ ’ your not going to be successful in life ’ are these words or sentences appropriate for a LEARNING ENVIRONMENT? Puting a child down ( most are 13-14 ) as if you have given up on them? ( I don’t get it we are sent out into the hallway when we disrespect the teachers why the hell do they get to disrespect us? ).

In other words:

Considering how the law sees teachers as our temporary gardians does it still mike it alright to go into an unsafe environment? ( Things that make it unsafe 1) the constant put downs 2) the teasing ( oh what’s your name again? ) 3) the fact that they seem to think it’s ok )
