Greavhearts for Google Play update
So we've run into a problem, and it isn't great. Gravehearts was finally, after months of jumping threw hoops and running into so many weird and annoying issues, it was ready to be published on Google Play. I was giving the app a little once-over to make sure everything looked good on the home page when I clicked on a drop-down menu, and it just showed my whole legal name, phone number and home address available for the public. I tried to see if you can hide it, but you cannot; I don't have a studio or anything so I can't use that, and you apparently cannot use a P.O. box or virtual address without risk of suspension, and you need to get an official document with your name on that address as well, which you can't get at a virtual office. I tried to change my account to a business account, but I don't have the documentation because I'm not an LLC. The only way to make sure you're not doxxing yourself is to make your app free, which wouldn't be great. I love working on my projects more than anything, but it isn't feasible to work on a game and a comic full-time time with both being free, I just can't afford it. My options here are to make it free and hope that that might translate to support on my Patreon or Ko-fi, completely doxx myself and put it up or put a hold on putting the game on Google Play until I can turn it into a business account/ make myself an LLC where I can obscure my personal address a little easier. This has all been really horrible and really stressful, I just want to make some income from my hard work without, like, y'know doxxing myself. They don't, by the way, tell you this was going to happen; it was a total surprise after a long, bumpy and unpleasant road. So yeah, I don't really know what to do... Meanwhile, you can still get the game for your Android on itch, and we are still hoping to get it onto the Apple App Store eventually, that's a whole other thing, you need a macbook to be upload it on there, and I simply do not own one. But It will be a goal to try and get my hands on one in the future. Sorry guys, I really wanted to announce the release of Gravehearts on the Google Play Store today, but unfortunatly google is weird.
