Our Wonderful Practitioners - Mark Westhead
What is Functional Medicine?
Functional Medicine is a personalized approach using Health Screening tools to help recognise how different signs and symptoms may relate to your current state of health. Through these tests, it is possible for our health practitioners to learn a great deal about the state of your overall health and well-being.
Our in-house screening tools include a small finger prick, where one or two drops of blood are taken and examined. The test picks up markers such as inflammation, oxidative stress or mineral deficiencies to name a few. Everything from mineral imbalances and pH levels to potential toxicity and parasites are taken into consideration.
