Are you jealous of my large container of spinach? 🤪 ... I get asked a lot how I eat so healthy. I often hear people say “I wish I was as disciplined as you.” “I wish I enjoyed healthy food as much as you.” Or I get told to “live a little”. It depends on the day 🤣 ... Truth is: I didn’t always eat healthy, and I sure as hell didn’t enjoy it. I used to be a soda drinker, I ate fast food regularly, and salads were never a first choice option for me 😬 ... So what changed? The way I eat now is years of experimenting with what works for me. My biggest motivator for diet change came when I started noticing how food made me feel physically after consuming it. ... I struggled with digestive issues for quite some time and started figuring out what foods my body could handle, and which ones were not worth the pain ( or smell? 💨) 👀 ... Changing up my diet was by no means easy. It was a process but now I enjoy eating foods that also make my body feel good. Once you start making the connection to how the food you eat makes your body feel— you might find it a little easier to make changes. 😁 ... Everyone is different, so finding out what works for you specifically is part of the journey.
