In the Enchanted Forest, the realm ruled over by Jack Skellington was seen as something of a fringe oddity. Hidden inside of a portal in an ancient tree, its unique motley of citizens tended to keep to themselves, regarded with confusion and mild fear as they were by the world outside. They were more than happy to live in peace in their spooky little town, enjoying all the dark little victories that came their way - in particular, when Sally, a rag doll seamstress who had been shut up in the home of her creator since she had been brought to life, finally broke out from under Dr. Finkelstein’s thumb and fell in love with the Skeleton King himself. Unfortunately, a strange curse strikes during Jack and Sally’s wedding - and in Storybrooke, Agatha Stoker is back to being seen as an oddity. Homeschooled her whole life by her crabby adoptive father, the only contact she has with the rest of the town is through the clothes she makes her money by mending and the homemade little tonics she brews… as well as longingly watching her charismatic next-door neighbour, a member of the town council. Her life is a deeply lonely one, but she does not ever expect it to change… until the mayor’s son runs away from town and brings back his birth mother, whose presence begins to change everything.
