thinking about ORGANIC material
the death particle. it kills all ORGANIC material only.
now assuming the Master ducked into one of those spare TARDISes to escape, but didn’t manage to get any of his time-cybes (cybe-lords?) >:D in the door before it blew, okay, all life on gallifrey is now wiped out. down to the last tafelshrew etc.
HOWEVER. and please i need the classic who and EU kids to correct me if i’m wrong on this!! but i think the Matrix is not technically organic. it’s more of a cloud backup for the timelords’ memories, if i understand correctly. and the data can be stored on non-organic backup drives (like those little cylinders we see in some classic and new who eps) ...
SO. if we ever need the return of the timelords because there isn’t enough trouble in the doctors’ and the masters’ lives ... pretty sure some of the worst of them could be re-loomed from their biodata and memories stored in the matrix. (just because it’s called biodata, doesn’t mean it’s actually biological in its data form, right?)
i mean obviously, also, the master has a bunch of that matrix data backed up inside his head, as well as the cyberium in there and yeah this could create loads of problems all on its own. but just in case (bit of a hoarder) ... the matrix also presumably still exists.
