This Football Party Pizza is the perfect addition to your game day spread. It's loaded with classic pizza toppings and has a spicy kick if you add jalapeños. The crispy crust and gooey cheese make it a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients: 1 pizza dough. 1/2 cup tomato sauce. 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni. 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers. 1/2 cup sliced black olives. 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup sliced jalapeos optional. 1 teaspoon dried oregano. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste. Salt and pepper to taste. Olive oil for brushing. Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional.
Instructions: Set your oven to 475F 245C and put a baking sheet or pizza stone inside to heat up. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the thickness you want. Carefully place the dough on a piece of parchment paper after rolling it out. Spread the tomato sauce out evenly on the dough, but leave a little space around the edges for the crust. Put half of the mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. Put down the pepperoni, bell peppers, black olives, mushrooms, diced onions, and jalapeos, if you're using them. Add the rest of the mozzarella cheese on top of the other ingredients. Red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, and dried oregano should all be used to season the pizza. Carefully move the pizza from the parchment paper to a pizza stone or baking sheet that has already been heated in the oven. When the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned, it's ready to be baked. Take the pizza out of the oven and let it cool for one minute before cutting it. If you want, you can add fresh basil leaves as a garnish. Football Party Pizza is ready to eat! Just cut it up and serve it!
