SMASH
PASS
The Gauth! These freaky little beholderkin are 4‒6 ft (1.2‒1.8 m) with cool eye powers! Their main gaze can stun you, but thier other eyes can paralyze you, put you to sleep, or knock you back! They like pretending to be Beholders to intimidate people or Spectators to trick people into letting them guard treasure. They eat magic to stay on this plane, though they can survive without it. Also, unlike beholders, they aren't terrified of all other life and will actually work together! Those tentacles aren't really strong enough to restrain you btw, not that it matters when they can make you unable to move just by looking at you.
Mangral, an elder gauth, High Priestess of the Great Mother. She was the first to claim visions from the Great Mother and created the cult as it is today.
Seleinuer, a young beholder, the most popular priestess of the Great Mother. She speaks a message of peace and alliance with the other species (mainly the grell and phaerims).
Ouari, a young spectator, and acolyte of the Great Mother. Claims he can hear the Great Emerald they all pray to.
Januaries Dungeons And Dragons madness continues. Grell (The beakys) and Gauth (The Beholder lite), from the board games. The Grells worked out fine for the speed, but the Gauth I think painted up better then the mini led me to believe it would.
10 down for Jan, more then 1 a day atm. :P I have ideas for a single big DnD project for 20th.
Beholders!
hockey alignment chart chl edition
Have a party member who insists on keeping all the magic items "for study purposes." They're actually working for a Gauth who is conuming the magic items.
WHICH WOULD YOU SMASH?
Choker
Gauth
Gauth Choker? I mean yeah those words do tend to go together. :P
On the left, the Choker! As for height, they stretch! So anywhere from 3.5 ft (1 m) to 6 ft (1.8 m) with arms that stretch up to 10 ft (3 m)! Thing would probably be in the top slots if not for the spikes on those hands, but its body is basically a giant tentacle! They're cowardly and kinda stupid creatures who silently choke people and drag them away to their lair. It can also choke 2 people at a time, so bring a friend!
On the right, the Gauth! These freaky little beholderkin are 4‒6 ft (1.2‒1.8 m) with cool eye powers! Their main gaze can stun you, but thier other eyes can paralyze you, put you to sleep, or knock you back!
