Record 2711. #TheBeatles #Revolver For a long time my only copy of Revolver has been the crappy Capitol version, which not only is notoriously bad sound quality, it also omitted "I'm Only Sleeping", "And Your Bird Can Sing", and "Doctor Robert" (were they mad!). So I've always been out for an upgrade, and with the hype around this 2022 stereo remix by Giles Martin, I thought, it's time. Oh my God the sound quality and new mixes are immediately obvious. So crisp and so much more bass, and the definition of things like sitar and percussion. Pretty amazing and of course such an amazing album. I DJ'd with my old copy to play "Tomorrow Never Knows" at a gig once or twice and it was death (no pun intended).
