As some of you know our resident alcoholic has had his account suspended, others accounts are under review, mine will likely be under review after this post.

You may be asking, is it b.c Carter watched a goat in a minefield for two months? No, though I have questions about that, like did they feed the goat or name it? No, it is b.c he spoke his mind about an issue that really should have never been an issue in the first place.

Two days ago I logged on and while scrolling through the dash I noticed a post that referenced an old RP I admined. The post was lengthy and mostly told others how they are to RP and how great the poster is. I’m of course summarizing b.c that shit was a novel and I can only read so much egotistical bullshit before I start to become physical ill. At a risk to my own health and losing the delicious dinner I’d enjoyed, I went onto the blog. What did I find? Rainbows and butterflies? Useful advice that is not at all delivered in holier than though tone? No, I found a number of posts with the same accusations, with various explanations as to  why each of the offending RP’s were wrong and that the concept was unique and basically no one else can ever have it. 

What is the problem with this? Well, I started an RP with a 30day concept back in 2013. The RP that I’ve stolen is from 9 months ago. Now I’ve joked about having a time machine, but in case any of you were wondering I do not in fact have one nor would I use it to steal RP ideas. Money, sure, but not RP ideas.  There is also that fact that I do not believe any of the parties, including myself, own the concept. It’s a multiverse concept and I’m creative but I’m not that damn creative. When I created the first RP had I noticed any others were around? No, but I assumed since it’s a pretty basic but interesting concept someone more creative than myself came up with it.

I mulled over messaging the RPH for a bit, and truthfully I wasn’t going to even say anything b.c they had no idea who was behind the RP’s that supposedly stole the RP idea and b.c I wasn’t angry or upset. After thinking it over and discussing it privately with a friend I decided to message them. 

I’ve includes word for word, errors included, what I messaged them below

Hey there, I wanted to message you about something that came across my dash. I was the admin at 30daychallengerp and i'd like to address the whole theft thing. When the RP started we got a single anon about the plot being stolen and I thought answering that would be the end of it. I did this exact plot as a side rp over a year before Glee Cracked came along. At this point I was prepared to move on and leave it alone. Truly figured that the poster was trying to help, this is of course b.c I have no idea who they are and I’m 99% sure that I’ve only been on their blog one time prior to all this drama. To my surprise, or maybe not to my surprise b.c it is tumblr, further posts were made. ‘Anons’ were answered praising the person for sticking up for the little guy and doing research. I understand people make mistakes, I’ve made a ton, but when you not only continue down the same path but run faster into the abyss, that’s when I have an issue. 

I made a post, not including the RPH’s name, basically showing that no theft took place on my part. I’m a lot of things, sarcastic, weird, funny, artistic, bitchy at times and if you ever call or text me you hate me b.c I take forever to reply, but I’m not a liar or a thief.

Others, without my prompting, made their own posts b.c they find an issue with the way this person is handling the situation, or better yet not handling it. Did I tell anyone to post anything? Am I am puppet master pulling all the strings? No, though that power may be kinda cool, only if used for make outs and obtaining large sums of money, after all, I do have some morals.

By now you’ve read a pretty long ass message, hopefully you’ve laughed a few times, but you’re probably wondering why the hell I’m posting this. It’s b.c when someone speaks out about something that is wrong or proves that something is incorrect they should not be reported or branded a bully. Simply disagreeing with how someone chooses to ignore a situation when their page is full of their opinions about how others should conduct themselves and how everyone is wrong if they don’t agree does not warrant reporting them. You set yourself up as an authority, which by the way none of us are, this is the internet after all, but when given the opportunity to practice what you preach you do everything you say is wrong with the community. You were given the opportunity to address this with me privately and you didn’t. 

I’m sure I’ll be reported for this post b.c clearly I’m bullying a person I’m not even including by name in this post. Thing is I don’t care. Right is right and wrong is wrong.

In which I give lots of roleplay plot ideas

Ok so I know there is a lack of roleplay ideas going around (that isn't smut or twins etc), or at least people are unsure to make them, so I thought i'd help but giving you ideas that i've thought of in my three years of roleplaying on Tumblr. Some i've made before, some never made them.

If you need help writing a summary, just ask off anon and i'll give you one.

Any similarities with other roleplays like this is just coincidence.

Plot ideas - 29

AU

RP set in an airport - I have done this before where it was set in LAX airport, did work for a short time but I made things too complicated so think that's reason it failed. Anyway you could get characters who due to issues in their country, have to stay in the airport, you then get characters who work there and those who are frequent fliers etc.

RP set in a hotel - Maybe some live in the hotel as customers.

RP set on a cruise ship - Maybe have it be on titanic and it's a what if situation "what if Titanic didn't crash into the iceberg?" etc.

Roleplay where everyone are convicts and have either escaped from prison or commited the crime and then left. They have to be on guard all the time and don't know who to trust because certain people could be police spies etc.

Where is Matt Rutherford? - Roleplay semi canon which is based around trying to find Matt Rutherford. Where did he go? Could also do the same with Sunshine etc.

Set in the Amazon rainforest - Characters live or are at least marooned in the rainforest and have their own secluded settlement away from everyone.

Online dating - Roleplay where the Gleeks are online dating, some dates may work well while others not so well. I know a storyline that could happen where a character goes to meet a guy who says he's 18, but turns out to be in his 40's etc.

Where characters are conmen/women - They like to play the long cons and so this roleplay follows group of them planning out the long and short cons they do and what happens after. Think of UK drama called Hustle.

Where the characters are actual dogs and cats or maybe turned into them. They can speak to one another and they get lost from their owners, so they have to travel across the state or even country to get home.

Set on the moon/space -  A roleplay where it's set in spae in the far future. There are colonies now living there, these people are the rich mainly, this is the story of what happens when an alien does come in contact with them or even when an asteroid/meteorite hits them.

Roleplay set in the White House - It's like the West Wing but characters are senior staff in the white house. Some may even be security or just work at the Pentagon.

Freak weather events/natural disasters

Supervolcano - There is a supervolcano in Yellowstone National Park. What happens when it erupts and effects the whole world, maybe even grounding all planes to a hault due to the ash.

Earthquake in California - Due to San Andreas Fault, one day California will be split in half due to an epic earthquake. What happens when that event happens and will there also be a Tsunami? (Has to be magnitude over 7.0 at least)

Sexuality

Roleplay where characters have different sexuality other than usual gay, bi or straight. Here is a masterlist of sexualities thanks to hermajestyhelps.

Roleplay set in maybe a camp or a hosptial or somwhere less like rehab for characters who are transgender, some may be post op, others may be in middle of process etc. It would still be Blaine, Puck, Kurt etc, but they were born female. So their birth names could be Natalie, Katherine and Beatrice etc.

Based on something else (doesn't have to be crossover)

Roleplay based on The Sims - Your character is doing his or her normal thing and then suddenly they randomly get an urge to hold a party or start an argument with the postman. They were just in the kitchen when out of nowhere the door vanishes and they are trapped.

Roleplay based on Truman Show - Only certain characters know that the town of Lima (or somewhere else), is just one big giant studio. Everyone else thinks this is real life, some don't wonder why their partner keeps randomly advertising new soap to them.

Roleplay based on a fanfic you love - I know many people who do this, including one roleplayer who has had permission from the actual writers. You can even maybe do one based on Little Numbers.

Roleplay based on Sliding Doors - This may end up complicated, but it's a roleplay where it's a what if situation. What if so and so misses their bus by 2 minutes, but then their other version get's on that bus and arrives to work on time etc. What if Blaine didn't tell Kurt about affair while other did? What if Quinn didn't have her accident but another version did?

Roleplay based on GTA (grand theft auto) - Roleplay where it is set in Los Santos (or another GTA city) and you are in a gang and you do basically what you do in GTA but with other characters. This sounds much better in my head.

Roleplay that is like the movie Click - Each character has a universal remote control and they can pause, fast foreward, go back etc through their life. Maybe even some can go into TV shows and change things.

Roleplay that is like the movie Pleasantville - It's 2014 (or whatever year you want it set), however something weird has happened overnight meaning everyone else acts like it's the 50's and all the women stop working once married, it's men's job to earn a living and everyone is just happy and say weird phrases like; "it's a jolly good day for a walk". Did I mention everything is now black and white? It's up to the Gleeks to make things turn Technicolor.

Set in the past

Characters have to go back to when they were born - Set in the early/mid 90's and characters have to make sure their parents "get together" on their conception date otherwise they will never have been born. They also can't change any other dates in history, however some do and they have to live the consequences of maybe telling someone what numbers to do on the lottery or telling their father not to eat certain things so they don't have a heart attack.

1960's - Characters are in the mid 60's and there is a revolution going on, sexual and otherwise. Will your characters be mods or rockers? Will they like The Beatles coming to America?

1914-1918 (WW1) - As it's 100 years since world war one started this year, this would be a good roleplay to do. Could follow characters who are in the army and their partners. Maybe even follow the women helping with the war effort. One of the characters could have even shot Archduke Ferdinand and set things spiriling out of hand.

9/11 - Now this is controversial but i've had three dreams similar to this in last few weeks and need it written down. Anyway, there could be a what if situation where a character or a group of people find out what will happen that day and so plan to make the casualty number reduce. Such as set off a fire alarm half an hour earlier, make sure that any floors above 70 etc are empty. Maybe even make sure there is an incident on the subway so people can't get to work.  They can't stop it from happening though and then have to hide from people wanting to call them heros etc.

Apologies if i've caused any distress to people reading this. It's just an idea. If I get too much hate due to it i'll remove the above idea.

Roman Empire - Roleplay set around the Roman Empire and follows characters who could be gladiators and have to fight in the arenas and some may be royalty or at least treated like it.

I am running multiple roleplays, and in each one there is a certain roleplayer that causes trouble. She is very guilty of 'bubble' RP'ing, as in she shuts herself and a select few off from the rest of the roleplayers, making it difficult to interact with her. She is hypocritical, ignores the rules, makes unkind critical remarks about other characters, and will throw a fit if I suggest that she's doing something wrong or if I don't let her have her way. Any advice? It's becoming a problem.

If she is like this in various roleplays then you need to give her a warning that if her attitude doesn't improve, then she will be removed from one or all of your roleplays.

Sounds like if she doesn't get her way, then she acts like a three year old. There are rules in a roleplay for a reason. If she is critical about other players and bubble roleplays and you have it in the rules that it shouldn't be done, then you are free to remove her.

Of course give her till like end of the week to improve but if she doesn't, then ask her to leave.
