Morning thought and reflection over coffee ☕
Whether it is people, animals, plants it will usually flourish and thrive in the best positive environment. Choose an environment that allows you to grow, learn and development. How do I know the best positive environment? When you see positive results, growth and room for change.
It takes a survivor spirit to flourish in the least positive environment. You have to be full of faith and perseverance which will also produce some good results
To survive the negative environment add something positive to it. Feed it the things it need to flourish and grow, nurture it, Love it♥️, Teach it, and support it. You will find joy in the positive things you contributed to when you can see the positive results.

sunday
Took yesterday off to rest for this morning’s 8k race put on by friends at Buffalo’s Latino Veterans group. A small community racing event, I used it as hard workout and to test out the recovering right leg. There was a small pack of about 3 of us in the first miles, and felt like we were crawling. I wanted to really test out the legs and have a good workout, so I picked up the pace, probably getting it down under 5:40 pace for a few miles. Turned out it was too fast, and I ran out of gas. A young runner passed by me with about 1.5 miles to go. Oh well. Got what I really wanted - which was to put myself through a grinder - it was tough final miles. The right hip was sore most of the race but not disabling. A good result. 10 miles altogether.
Not sure of the times we ran as there was a course snafu. The race organizers accidentally added on about a ¼ mile to the route at literally the last minute as we were approaching the finish line and were directed to add on a city block - a bad surprise. They mistakenly thought the original course was short when in fact it was correct. It was endearingly comical, a small organization and a road race.
It was fun on a beautiful Sunday morning, the post race Spanish rice dish was delicious, I had a great time.

If you were a deity, what would you be the god of?
flora and fauna
you’re friendly and a benevolent force to those who respect you and your domain, but a true force to be reckoned with to those who disrespect or threaten the balance of the natural world. the forest is nothing to fear for those who take care of it, but it isn’t uncommon for people to go missing with only their faces outlined in the bark on a tree.
Update
Hi guys! It's been a while since I've uploaded on here and I was on holiday. Please, I had to rest up before a newemester and guess what? It starts tomorrow!!
I am glad to announce that after all the late night readings, sweat, tears, migraines and breakdowns, my result was better than I expected! I got a lot of good grades and my parents were really pleased. So this semester, I'm going HARDERR!!! More sleepless nights, more hours in the library! I'm going for a really good result and I'm gonna get it!!
So y'all get ready for another semester of my crazy rantings and complaints about my college life😭😭 and be inspired! (LMAO you can't 😭)
