Game of Thrones absolutely deserved the breathtakingly beautiful genius that is Ramin Djawadi's music.
D&D's garbage writing did not.

It might be kinda silly but the Season 8 soundtrack combined with some of the brilliant fic in this fandom lifted my Braime spirits in the biggest way. All the fuckery of S8 and that weight of sadness and disappointment has just kind of disappeared now that it’s over and done.
The contrast of The White Book, with the blending of I am Hers and She is Mine/The Old Gods and the New/A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (which is a version of Word of Honor from S6) all beautiful hopeful motifs related specifically to weddings and romance and honorable deeds versus For Cersei which is heavy blends of Light of the Seven and Rains of Castamere which are of course associated with the worst deeds on the show, is just so perfect to illustrate how very different these two relationships were and how they were perceived by Ramin especially.
Music scoring is so intimate and complex, especially to the depth Ramin did it, and having that understanding and validation really just lifted me up and reminded me why I love Braime so much, and that even if they weren’t appreciated by the writers to the degree they should have been based on their story in the books, they were definitely portrayed by the cast as beautifully as they were allowed to and a tribute was paid to them many times over in the compositions created for them specifically.
I was listening to the Game of thrones soundtrack and almost started crying because i loved the earlier seasons so much and it hurts to think about how they completely fucked up everything i loved about this show.
"Stay a Thousand Years"
Ramin Djawadi's last tribute to honor Daenerys Targaryen . A beautiful song, that I think didn't make to the final season.
I’m listening to Daenerys’ themes in the soundtrack
THIS IS SO FUCKING SAD, knowing her ending.
Her songs were so special. They transmitted the sense of something powerful and ancient, but also a little bit sad, misunderstood. Like the girl she was and the hardships she went through in order to become a leader and a liberator.
I’ve come to terms with the fact that she was always meant to end the way she did: the vision of The House of the Undying is among the few that became a reality. Plus, Jon’s heroic journey in the show did have to end by killing a monster... I still think it was handled HORRIBLY, though, because there were no signs, no clues. But it’s still sad to think of all the time we spent cheering for her, and the music remind me of all those times we watched her being all majestic and powerful.
Wow? That last few minutes of The Night King really make you Go Through It. 😭💜
does anyone know the name of the song during sansa’s and jon’s reunion? it’s so beautiful and emotional but i can’t seem to find it on the soundratck… does anyone even know if it’s been released as a song? please help if you know anything 🙏🏼
when some notes from the main theme of game of thrones start playing in powerful scenes of the show
