If he’s not attracted to her and madly in love with her, what else can it be?

I STAND WITH DAENERYS TARGARYEN. FIRE AND BLOOD

If Dany is going to be the Mad Queen...So be it. I don’t like it all. It destroys all the character development that has been built from George R.R Martin and the performance by the amazing Emila Clarke. But...

I’m so sick and tired of female characters and females, in general, being dogged out just for mere existence.

 If we cry or show emotion we’re too sensitive and should suck it up because it works so well for men, who bury their pain and lash out by violence but whatever that’s to be expected. We don’t challenge that and let violent men rape, abuse, and control the world. 

If we’re powerful, and play the man’s game. We’re bitches and should know our place. 

We have to be pure but appealing to men. 

Cover ourselves up. Oh but you’re a prude, and not desirable. 

Dress sexy or confident in your sexuality. You’re a slut and should not be protected. 

Women are pitted against each other instead of standing together because the patriarchial system knows we are too powerful and brainwashes us to be each other’s enemy. 

If a man does something it's like Jesus has been reborn, but if a woman does something equal or better it is ignored and criticized.  

It doesn’t matter what we do, women get the short end of the stick and it drives us crazy like how it drove Cersei insane and turned her into a monster that can’t be helped. 

Dany had been raped, beaten, abused, betrayed left and right, and lost many people that she loved. We have seen her struggle since day one. From her own brother to Khal Drogo to Quarth to Mereen.  She realized her power a lot faster than Sansa who just now started making her own decisions after years of letting others do it for her and resulted in her being used. Sansa spent a lot of the seasons sulking instead of actively campaigning for her future on her own. Yes, you can make the valid argument that Sansa did all she could to survive in the situation she was in. But Dany endured the same hardships as Sansa and she came out being a mother fucking Queen and Conqueror. 

She rose above what was expected of her and fought for what was right in her mind. It is flawed but she has been always been an outsider and cares deeply for others like her. She has a vision for a better world, unlike Cersei who would rather see the world burn as long as the flames don’t touch her and relish in abuse. Dany never relishes in harming people or play sick twisted games because she can. She does what she has to do in a cruel, evil world that would happily harm her and others.  Being a leader for millions of people is a slippery slope and that sometimes calls for brutality because the opposing team isn’t going to play fair as seen in not just in Cersei but also Tywin who orchestrated many slaughters. Or the slavemasters. The Freys. The Boltons. Euron Greyjoy. The Baratheon's.

 And I guarantee you if any of the male characters had dragons the kill count would surpass Dany and there would be fewer questions at their character. 

Dany worked so hard to get to where she is and people want to take it away from her. And the Iron Throne is closer than what it was since Season 1 so of course, she’s going to make mistakes out of fear because if she fails everything she did was in vain. All the accomplishments and changes she made like ending slavery would be erased. The rest of her people would be slaughtered by Cersei, her last baby would be killed. 

Then Jon sprang the news that all she has done might be undone and what? She’s supposed to be alright with that? Fall into a subservient good wifey role? Be thrown away like trash after all she’s done for the good of everyone else.  

Fuck that. 

Daenerys Targaryen has been through so much shit and lost so much, and the remaining people around her are no help. She doesn't owe anyone a goddamn thing and if she wants to destroy all of King’s Landing well...

Light it up Dany.  She can build her Queendom out of the remaining ashes of these hoes.

She is the ultimate symbol of female resilience, rage, and power.

 She is a reminder that we are powerful, clever, and strong. We are vulnerable. We love too much. Give too much. Suffer too much.  And we don’t owe the world anything. Our passion is hot like fire and we will not be put out. 

Long live the Mad Queen Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, the First of her Name,  Queen of Mereen, Queen of the Andals, the Unburnt, Breaker of Chains, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, and Mother of Dragons.
