Honestly, the plot issues with the Legend of Aang movie could have been a non-issue for me if the movie was actually enjoyable.
A purely nostalgic movie with no substance isn't necessarily a bad thing in a case like this. If we had gotten to see the Gaang interact and be together more, I would have been fine with the lackluster plot and story. But for some reason, we barely got any interaction between the Gaang at all. Aang gets more one-on-one scenes with Tagah than he gets with his own girlfriend.
(Mind you, considering that Katara being pregnant was an actual official concept (barf), this movie has to be somewhat close to Bumi's birth. So not only are they barely interacting, Aang doesn't even give her the grace of listening to her and they're close to bringing a child into the world. Bryke I'm in your walls)
Like, what was the point of marketing this as a Gaang movie if the Gaang was barely in it?
