Every time I see someone go "I can't talk about how people with bpd/npd are abusive!"

I have to question do you seriously think every single person with bpd or npd is the same as your abuser?

Because that is not the case. It might be because they share a disorder therefore might share symptoms but different people might have different symptoms, are at different points in recovery/therapy, and other people just act different.

Just because one or even multiple people with a disorder have given you a bad experience does not mean everyone with that disorder is destined to, and telling people with those disorders that they are abusers or are inherently harmful is harmful on its own and does absolutely no good and in fact helps no one recover.

You are allowed to talk about your abuse story, you are allowed to not like your abusers, you are allowed to talk about why they were abusive and what may have caused that.

That doesn't mean that you can just start tearing down strangers and their mental health because you got hurt yourself.

Don't be the stereotype of hurt people hurt people.
