This is my main OC, Harvey Killeen. He's a former character actor from the height of the Australian New Wave (a cinema movement from the 1970s and 80s where the Australian film industry saw a massive boom) who ended up quitting in 1980 (the year my story is set) and becoming a radio host instead. His on air persona is completely different from his off air one. He's ornery and pessimistic, but he has his reasons (#tragicbackstory) and ultimately he does care about others, he just doesn't know the best way to show it.

Can you tell us more about your OCs? I love hearing about people's OCs!!!

Oh God... I've had this in here for a while and I've been scared to answer it because idk I'm scared to talk about ocs but I'll talk about a few.

Ari (she/they): Basically my main oc, she's a Animaniacs fan character from a story I'm writing that's basically a self insert and doesn't hide that fact while being enough of her own character that I can have plausible deniability. Ari is anxious and awkward, a bit of a dumbass, and accident prone. She's anthropomorphic husky who works as a security guard at Warner Brothers Studios after she moved to California to pursue a music career and that...did not work out. Her job is basically babysitting the Warners to make sure they don't destroy everything or each other. She hates them at first but grows to love them so deeply she ends up adopting them.

Nemel (Any Pronouns): Another OC from the same story. To make it short. Nemel is an angel who got kicked out of heaven for being an asshole and is forced to be Ari's guardian angel in order to get back in Gods good graces. Nemel also looks a lot like Nermal from Garfield if he was way taller and hot. Hence the name. There's a lot more going on like how they're the Angel Of Death in training which basically means they are The Grim Reaper's apprentice but that's a lot to go into.

I have a lot of ocs but that's all I'm comfortable talking about rn!

4. Does your OC consider themselves to be attractive? Do they put much effort into achieving this?

Orc doesn't really think he's attractive or unattractive, I don't think he really thinks about it much at all tbh. If pressed to say, I think he'd just say he's a solid middle-of-the-road attractive. There's parts he thinks are handsome and some parts he doesn't, but it's not like he wants to ruminate on it.

He does take good care of himself though, he likes to make sure he's clean and tidy, and likes when his hair and beard are long enough to dress up for nice occasions, and really wants to find a tailor who can make him big sized versions of clothes to match with Abe while they're travelling - but that's a bit more about fitting in rather than being attractive.

10. Does your OC have a type? Have they ever been surprised by their feelings for someone who doesn't fit this?

Abe didn't really think he had a type, he had a hard time with this growing up and didn't really get to explore it well so he kinda bottled it up and didn't think about it much beyond that. He knows he prefers men, I don't think he's really thought too hard beyond that - but he does like the workers who wear traditional style clothes for their work. Definitely did not influence him to finally get some traditional clothes when they started stamp work. Not at all.

In regards to him being surprised when he ends up with Orc, I think he's just surprised at all that anyone likes him the way Orc does, before and after they start sleeping together. There's so much about Orc that he wouldn't have thought he'd find attractive, like how he's huge and has one eye and big lower teeth like tusks... Not to mention Orcs were supposed to just be a fantasy creature in the old wives tales. But Abe does grow to find Orc really attractive the more they hang out and are intimate with each other 😏

2. What's your favourite source of information to learn about them?

i love finding info in books. the internet archives is literally a GOLDMINE for this stuff, the joys of seeing his name in an index makes me SOOOO excited. also, i am very blessed to have people/followers/mutuals who send me passages of books where gérard is mentioned, i learn a lot from that 💖

4. Favourite thing about them?

he's hot he just seems like a really chill guy! he's hot. he got along with everyone. he's hot. didn't cause any drama. he's hot always very supportive of everyone, and was great at building morale in teams. and he's kinda hot.

8. Do you have anyone in particular you love talking about them with?

i have a lot of mutuals who i love talking to him about, but honestly anyone who has eyes to read and ears to listen i will pretty much be happy with 💘 everyone puts up with so much every time they have to read my tags about him ! really anyone who brings him up in convo i just adore 😚

9. Can you find artifacts related to them at any museum? If so, have you been?

this is a story! when i was italy i went to a motorsport museum in turin and they had an exhibit about ayrton senna. and i was like wow ayrton senna. oh wow they have his overalls. oh magazines. oh wow they have his f1 cars!!!

and of course i took pictures of them because i thought this will be a hit with the mutuals, especially the jps lotus ! look at how sexy...... but i didn't know who gérard was at the time !!! then i got back and few months later realised that GÉRARD LITERALLY DESIGNED THESE CARS !!!!!! LIKE THESE ARE HIS CARS I HAVE SEEN A DUCAROUGE DESIGNED CAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont know whether the exhabit is still on but believe me,,, if i can see them again.........
