🌟 Gratitude isn’t about the price tag or the spotlight—it’s about the little joys that sprinkle our days! ✨ Let’s embrace every blessing, big or small, and create a world that feels like home. 🏡💖
hi guys !!!!! so like it’s been a while and since the new year is coming i wanted to just make a small post explaining some things + taking time to appreciate this account!!!!
so if u were here from the start you know that i started this account in august genuinely just to have a space to lose my mind over f1 races because none of my friends were into it hahah. my accounts grown since then, and my contents def shifted but if you’ve been here since the beginning and are still here then thank you !!!! :( i still can’t believe how much things have changed since august. when i started this account i have zero plans on trying to grow it or even getting back into writing fanfiction again but the stars aligned and i managed to get back into it!!!
i am grateful for that because i’ve amassed an insanely supportive community on here. the love i’ve gotten for my works, whether it be small random headcanons, drabbles or proper fics/series never fails to make me all mushy inside.
this year has been soooo insanely tough, like maybe my worst to date for my mental and physical health but also given me some of the best things ive ever had. i started on antidepressants for the first time, got back into therapy/cbt, almost dropped out of uni oops, truly lost my mind in the summer and then started my second year of uni, finally did a trip abroad with my friends, got hospitalised twice oops, got into f1 teehee (max and charles chose me !!!), i got drunk and smoked for the first time woohoo AND i started a secret tumblr and now there’s 4.2k of you on here!
so much more has happened, but honestly im just super grateful for what ive got right now. i used to be extremely stressed about putting out content over and over again, which after three months did make me burn out, but rn im trying not to focus on numbers, whether it be comments, likes or even how much i post, but just the positive interactions i do manage to have on here instead.
okay im getting corny but u guys changed my life for the better and having this safe space to be able to nerd out and be a fan girl is just so special to me as a girl who’s always been afraid of being her true authentic self since she was like 12 and always thought she had to hide who she was when she was a bts fan and super into percy jackson ans then again at 15 when i was into anime and naruto, and then at 17 when i got into genshin. i’m so used to hiding myself, esp the part of me that’s a fangirl because i’ve never had a real space to nerd out without judgement but this account has given me that and im so immensely grateful! i love you all my loves and i am so very glad to be going into 2026 with all of you !!!!
whether we message on here, if you leave me comments, send in asks or just like my posts, im grateful for it, and my heart is filled to the brim!!
have a happy new year and i hope 2026 treats you all well <33
love, ivy
i just saw kali uchis and i literally cried twice during the concert . like her music literally saved my life so many times i cannot i am so so so so soooo grateful i was even introduced to her music never mind being able to see her in concert ❤️ i was literally screaming the whole time this was probably one of the best things to happen to me in my life
Last night I asked my spirit guides how to get out of this feeling of hopeless sadness that has been keeping me up at night lately. The cards told me to write down my gifts, explore what each situation can teach me, and experience joy.
I think it might work, which is why I am writing this post. I will only relate it to Tumblr, because my private life does not belong there.
So let me first express my gratitude for meeting people here like @lemurious or @le-vieux-cordelier. People with a lot of empathy and good hearts. I just want to thank you for being you. If I were to apply this to the French Revolution, you are an expression of the universal hope and enthusiasm of 1789. Please stay that way.
(Note: I met other amazing people here (you know who you are - and I love you), this was just an example, because these people belong to a separate category.)
Learning from experiences is something we all need to work on constantly. For me, it means especially how to manage stressful situations and control emotions. But if I had to mention one thing I learned here, it's that trusting your instincts pays off and that actions speak louder than words. I won't go into detail about that.
Finally - experiencing the joy of what fulfills you - that's what writing for frevtober has been about for me lately. I know my writing isn't perfect. My English isn't perfect either. I usually check what I write with an online translator, which often takes away the extras that Czech allows me to express. But I try not to let the translation take away too much of the experience for readers. The important thing is that I really enjoy it. And thanks to the prompts, I try to make time for this joy every day. And that's amazing. Besides, your feedback is always so kind and is really appreciated. Thank you to all of you who have dedicated time to my short stories. <3
100 FOLLOWERS!!!!
Y'all this post is so overdue! I didn't realize I hit 100 followers!
It's not that I was ungrateful or thought that it wasn't enough. I did look at my account activity all the time and see that I have new followers but I didn't realize it got that high. I was just excited to actually get a new follower.
I have a full time job that I honestly hate, and I just want to go home at the end of the day and pretend my life doesn't suck. My life is also hard and a mess, I'm always thinking about how to make it better somehow. It plagues my mind most of the day unfortunately. Writing is one of my hobbies and I look forward to indulging in my hobbies whenever I can, because it's the only way for me to feel like a person.
I was also so focused on getting my stories out, enjoying writing when I can, and getting all my ideas down it didn't register in my head I reached my first milestone.
I'm happy! I'm so so happy! It's a small thing for a lot of people but this means so much to me.
I am so appreciative of everyone who took time out of their day to give my writing a chance. I've been wanting to write and post for years but I didn't think that I would make anything good. I thought I would hype myself up to a point to where if I didn't get enough attention I would get really upset with myself thinking I wasn't good enough.
This was honestly really scary for me but I don't feel fear anymore. I have developed better habits to keep myself going. My day is easier to get through knowing I have another thing to look forward to. And knowing I have people who just leave a like is a wonderful feeling, but having followers is so damn euphoric.
I've got so much more planned and I'm going to keep giving it my all.
So thank you to my current followers for supporting me. And to my future followers who took the time to read this old post, welcome and thank you to you to!
i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i will say this ("i am grateful") until it is the spirit behind every other word i say i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful i am grateful
Hail Apollo and Hermes for helping me get my ass in gear to take care of a couple financial things that have been stressing me out for a while! ...and for the reminder to not impulse spend.
