Like, the interesting thing here is, and… maybe it's just me, but when I first heard Huntress Wizard describe Fionnaworld's counterpart to the Heart of the Forest as 'quiet', my assumption is that means the Heart of Fionnaworld is significantly weakened and maybe even dying. Whatever it is due to the urban nature of Fionnaworld or because there is so little Magic.

But now it turns out the Heart of Fionnaworld was 'quiet' because it actually blooms all over Fionnaworld, no matter how much people (Hunter's bosses, the Lemoncarbs) try and stop it.

And it's actually the Heart of the Forest in Ooo that is clearly sick and dying due to exploitation. And specifically exploitation that came due to the more Magical nature of that world…

Relatively Minor detail I noticed at the end of episode 8. All the green wizards are present at the Heart, except for Witch Wizard.

I can think of a couple reasons for why that might be, she may have left to deal with her shattered teeth, she might have died after her fight with Huntress on top of losing her powers since she seemed very weak by the time the other Green Wizards showed up.

But rewatching episode 2, when Huntress falls into the portal, the last thing we see from her POV is Witch Wizard watching her fall in.

Does this mean something? The portal seems to remain open up to the point PB shows up to euthanize the Heart. Did she try following Huntress into the portal to try and get revenge or see if it would restore her powers? Or was it just an oversight?

All I know is that Witch Wizard coming out of nowhere to get Huntress with the steel chair in the finale would be very funny.

I wanted to make a messy post about the Heart of the Forest backstory and the Green Wizards:

It was really interesting to see how Spirit Dream Warrior was really THE KEY to the foundation of the green wizards.

I wonder why he hasn't shown up yet? The heart of the forest is DEAD and yet... I wonder what that's all about? Again, Spirit Dream Warrior is shrouded in mystery.

Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, the now magicless Green Wizards are gathered around the Heart of the Forest as it lies there dying... and Witch Wizard not being present.

And looking back at the intro of the episode...

Ok, I recognize these two immediately.

But you? Is this Witch Wizard?

It would make sense. The way she spoke to Spirit Dream Warrior when he brought Huntress to her gave off a sense of seniority... and also the only other wizard left with two eyes lmao.

She sure gave herself a glow-up if that's the case. To think the Green Wizards started as humans wasn't at all that given imo.

I thought that Spirit Dream Warrior was tied to Huntress Wizard but it's not like that. He is tied to the whole green magic in general; did he bring the Heart of the Forest? Was it already there? Why did he let it fall into the hands of the Green Wizards? Was it meant to be chained?

I really wonder his motivations behind all of this (if he has any) and at the same time I wonder about his absence as the events unfold.

Additionally;

In the og series, Huntress Wizard attempts to summon him with the help of Finn, and they talk about how the force that drew them together has disappeared, and therefore he has too... she is ready to go back, she says. But to what? The forest? Aside from the probable trips to Wizard City, isn't that her home? I wonder what she meant by that.

I hope my post gives people with more insight than me some food for thought.

Mostly because a pack of sentient dogs came through the town square and terrorized the townspeople, but my green robes allowed me to blend in easily next to a produce stand.

Also people were complimenting my green regalia before the dog mob came by, but I don’t know why.

Songstress Wizard

What if Marceline joined the Green Wizards instead of becoming a vampire? I had fun with the idea- her outfit is based off her look in Betty, with the mask design based off the Marceline analog we see in Beyond the Grotto. Her little leaf "antlers" can be seen as demon horns or maybe lamb ears... who knows.
