I watch a lot of Grey's Anatomy (I know) and I have watched Private Practice once, it was already cancelled and finished by the time I watched it and I remember thinking it did not age as well as Grey's, and it was much more centrist than Grey's for seemingly no reason

What really bugged me the most was the "see both sides, agree to disagree" way they portrayed abortion. Addison obviously being an obgyn who had previously been a provider, and her LA best friend Naomi who was strictly anti choice and thought of abortion as murder.

I really wonder what the heck they were trying to do with that. I know the climate around reproductive rights was very different than today, but in a recent season they brought Addison back to Grey's and had her literally risking her life going around to provide abortion care to women without access.

The shows must have overlap in writers, even with the time that's passed, I wonder if they think about that big contradiction lol

Mark Sloan just had a baby with Meredith’s big sister who works at the hospital as well but as the chief of cardio.

Mark and y/n just had there baby girl, and they have just left the hospital and this would be the first time they could take there daughter home.

Mark and y/n used to be a couple but had a one night stand with each other, and it ended with Y/n getting pregnant.

They decided to move in together even if they aren’t a couple. All Mark wants is to get back together with y/n, and he really wants them to be a family.

First night and first morning with a new born baby at home.
