HP AU - Part 2

shoutout to @ginyang98 with the magical creature Aja and Krel idea and @fragoia for Blinky and AAARRRGGHH to be like Hagrid to the trio

warning this is long and gets ramblely

So basically Akiridions are a magical creatures

Which go between their what they call Full Form and their Human form

When they are in their human form they are pretty much just wizards with a bit more strength

Their wizarding abilities are stronger in their human forms

But they have an entirely different way of magic that they can do ONLY in their full forms

Akiridions are born in their full form and can pretty easily as children start to switch form at will

Their full forms are similar to their alien forms in canon but i might change a few things to make them seem more magical than alien

Cores are a thing too

Akiridions can be found all other the world but the major population is in a the Forest of Cantaloupia in Europe

To muggles the Forest of Cantaloupia is dangerous and with the help of little magic no one gets in their, even wizards

Akiridions are pretty secretive so they are not widely known in the wizarding world

King Fialkov and Queen Coranda are the rulers of Cantaloupia

Cantaloupia is a very tree based city as it is hidden in a forest which Aja loves and Krel hates

Even though they are called King and Queen royalty works differently for the Akiridions

Basically the Royal family stays royal until another family tries to challenge them for the title

It’s very long process and is normally handled democratically

Morando once tried to do this was declined, tried to kill the royal family in anger and was banished for life

They have a magical force field like canon which gets disabled by Varvatos seeking peace but ends up full on coup

Only Aja, Krel, Varvatos and Luug escape with the King and Queen’s cores

With nowhere to go Varvatos thinks of an old friends of his who works in the ‘safest place in the world’

His old friends are History of Magic professor Blinky and groundskeeper AAARRRGGHH

Cores when placed in a Cantaloupian tree begin to regenerate the Akiridion

The Akiridions have only two seeds and begin to grow the trees in the Forbidden forest in secret

Blinky and AAARRRGGHH are trolls which are magical creatures made of stone who DON’T get killed by sunlight, they have no wizarding like abilities (wands and such) but have their own troll magic

Blinky and AAARRRGGHH do not have Hogwarts houses as they never attended Hogwarts only teach but if they did Blinky would be a Ravenclaw and AAARRRGGHH would be Hufflepuff

With Blinky and AAARRRGGHH’s help Varvatos gets the siblings set up at Hogwarts as thankfully it was late August so they could start in September like everyone else

Posing as exchange students (which in their alternate version of Hogwarts has, so no ones suspicious and many people join Hogwarts not in their first year and there is even been some sorting in March for late comers so its not weird at all)

Almost immediately Aja is sorted into Gryffindor almost immediately

She loves DADA and Herbology

She’s also a beater on the Gryffindor’s quidditch team

Aja beats (and i mean literally) fellow Gryffindor Steve Palchuck in the quidditch team tryouts

Krel takes a long time and is a Hatstall but finally he is sorted into Slytheirn

Unlike Aja he doesn’t find as many passions at Hogwarts but he enjoys helping out Professor Janeth with the Frog Choir as even though he’s not a singer he loves music

Varvatos gets a job as a caretaker (like Filtch)

He dominates in the teachers lounge at wizarding chess

No one knows what kind of magical creature Luug is

Aja just found him in the forest and was like he’s ours now and that’s it

Professor Uhl who was previously Head of Hufflepuff and teacher of Muggle Studies is the Headmaster

Sir Lawrence is the flying instructor and quidditch referee

Professor Strickler who even though has been gunning for the History of Magic teaching job is the potions teacher

He’s a changeling, a sub species of troll who have a human form and in that human form they can perform witchcraft and wizardry

Professor Janeth is the Arithmancy teacher

Professor Nomura is the Study of Ancient Runes teacher

Professor Draal is the DADA teacher

Nomura and Draal run the duelling club

Professor Scaarbach is the Transfiguration teacher

Madam Bagdwella runs the Three Gyres pub in Hogsmead

Steve is a Gryffindor from a pureblood family

Eli is a muggleborn Ravenclaw

After finding out wizards and so many other things are real he’s like ‘if i was right right about that maybe i’ll be right about this!’ and uses magic to help find the existence of aliens

Mary is a Slytherin

Shannon too

Darci is a Hufflepuff , her dad is a Auror

Also because im trash Jim is half changeling on his dad’s side and is expected to go through changeling puberty soon (i have no idea okay i just wanted everyone to be their their canonical species so jim being part troll makes sense)

Blinky becomes Jim’s surrogate dad at some point and AAARRRGGHH is everyone’s uncle

Toby sneaks out to AAARRRGGHH’s hut sometimes

Professor Uhl tries to stop Luug coming as he isnt a Cat, Toad or Owl but after one conversation with Aja and Krel he’s like scratch that i will now die for that magical dog thing

Uhl’s protronus is his truck Suzanne

Also I have 3Below plot but not really a Trollhunters plot at the moment which annoys me because I want to think about team Trollhunters at Hogwarts Shenanigans
