You and Kuroo broke up seven years ago when the two of you were in your 18s. Your schedules weren’t matching, the two of you were immature, you were busy chasing your dreams of becoming an academic achiever, while he was busy training and attending matches to achieve his dream on being a professional volleyball player. It was tiring, that’s why breaking up was the solution of both of you.
Or how you thought it was.
Those seven years was a pain in the ass. Everytime you would experience something happy, you wished Kuroo was beside you. Your queen sized bed, feels a lot more bigger now he was gone. Your hand always seemed so heavy and cold without his touch. Each second he isn’t with you, it felt empty and painful. Even your friends wondered how you survived like this for seven years now.
Currently, you’re a CEO of one of the most famous marketing companies. For some reason, you haven’t noticed that you once gave your business card to a professional athlete, that happens to be Kuroo, that’s why you are now on a phone call with him.
“Y/N..” Kuroo continues through the phone, voice shaking, nervous and at the same time excited that he has finally reached you now. “I can’t force you to be with me.” A sad tone appears from the phone, echoing through your eardrums. “But I hope you know that I am willing to do anything I can to make this right.”
“You want me to beg for it?” He asks, sounding so desperate, that almost your co-workers have heard it too. “I’ll get down on my knees and beg for you. I’ll do it right now, if that’s what you want.”
♥ You were playing a practice match with him and Bokuto, and a few other Fukorodani players, when a spike suddenly came crashing down
♥ You were unable to process the incoming ball in time, so when it connected with your face with a loud bam, Akaashi’s head whipped around to face you
♥ He watched as your body crumpled to the ground, you were knocked out for a few minutes. Everyone except for him froze.
♥ He would run straight to you and kneel down, pushing you onto your back so he could look at your face. He’d pat your face gently, his calm facade broken as he orders those around to fetch him water, towels, anything that he needed
♥ When you finally come back a few minutes later, with a steady pounding in your head, Akaashi will pull you into your arms in relief and hold your head against his chest.
♥ “Are you alright, Y/N?” He’ll ask, cautious to keep his voice low for the sake of your head. When you assure him you’re okay, just in a little bit of pain, he’ll try to help you up.
♥ You’ll stumble, instantly dizzy, but try to tell him you’re fine. He’ll insist that you sit the practice out and lay down on one of the benches, if you refused to go to the infirmary. He’ll shut down any arguments as soon as the arise, insistent on you not overworking yourself
♥ Later that night, when he’s walking you home, he’ll decide halfway through the walk that you weren’t walking straight enough for his liking, so he’ll surprise you by picking you up and carrying you effortlessly the rest of the way home
♥ He’ll say hi to your parents, letting them know what happened, before bringing you up to your room and tucking you in. He’ll be sure to set a bottle of water and some medication on the bedside table next to you, before giving you a soft kiss on your head.
♥ “Sleep tight, Y/N” He’ll stroke your face softly. You’ll pull him in for one last kiss before he leaves, going to sleep feeling warm and snuggly despite your slight dizziness and headache
BOKUTO
♥ Honestly, his spike would be the one to knock you out
♥ You’d be serving some balls for him after practice, since he wanted to get a few extra tosses in, when it happened
♥ He would be preparing to spike a ball, and your attention would be concentrated on how...muscular...he was
♥ You’d be so focused that you wouldn’t see the ball coming straight for you until the last minute
♥ You’d make a desperate attempt to dodge to the side, no harm done, but you’d end up throwing yourself into the bench, successfully knocking yourself out
♥ Bokuto would immediately panic the second he see’s your head going straight for the bench. He’d try to run to catch you before it happened, but you were just too far away
♥ When he reaches you, he instantly pulls you into his arms and begins checking for any blood. While he’s checking you and muttering “i’m sorry” over and over again, you slowly begin to come to
♥ He only notices your eyes opening when you let out a pitiful groan, reaching out to hold his arm
♥ He’ll hold your face in his big hands, and search your eyes. “Y/N, are you okay? I’m so so sorry!” He’ll say, panic lacing his voice. He doesn’t realize how loud he’s being, which sends more pain through your head
♥ “N-not your fault” You’ll mutter quietly. Poor bby looks like he wants to cry. “What do you mean, my spike made you hit the bench!” He’ll cry out
♥ You’ll place your hand against his chest and shush him, in both an attempt to comfort him and to sooth your own headache. He’ll take the hint and try to speak lower for you
♥ “Bo, I had time to run out of the way, i was just...distracted” You mumble, your face getting red. But Bokuto is oblivious as always and pulls you back into a hug. “You were distracted with the thought of your big test, huh? I should have known. I shouldn’t have asked you to help me” he’ll mumble
♥ You’ll slap his arm, surprising him. “Bo, you idiot. It’s not your fault...I was-i was distracted by...” You’ll gulp nervously. If there was one thing you hated the most, it was when you got all blushy and nervous in front of others. “I was distracted by your muscles”
♥ That just takes all of the negative feelings out of him and turns it into pure joy. “Y/N! You like my muscles?” He’ll yell, releasing you so he can flex. You’ll laugh despite your embarrassment, and he’ll pick you up and bring you over to the bench. “Y/N, let me put everything away and then we can go home. The you can ogle my muscles as much as you want” He’ll wink at you
USHIJIMA
♥ You’ll simply be standing on the sideline, writing some notes on your clipboard, when it happens
♥ Ushijima will be practicing his killer spikes with the team, and one ball will bounce in just the right way, immediately making it’s way to your face
♥ The entire team will notice and immediately turn towards it as if they can make it to you fast enough to save you, but they were too slow, and the ball ends up making contact with your face, sending you flying backwards
♥ It would have been funny if it weren't for the fact that your body has slumped into a heap, non-moving and even appearing like you weren’t breathing
♥ Ushijima will be the first one by your side, his normal stoic features replaced by one of fear and guilt, as he orders those around you to back off while he assesses the situation
♥ He’ll examine you for any wounds, and then ask one of his teammates to grab a bottle of water. While he’s doing this, he’ll be cursing himself in his head for doing this to you
♥ He’ll place his big hand on your back and prop you up against him, resting a cool towel against your head. The team will watch in anticipation as you slowly open your eyes, a pained moan slipping from your mouth
♥ Ushijima will immediately bring the water to your lips, before asking you for any symptoms. You of course will lie to him and tell him your fine as you remember what just happened, embarrassment looming over you
♥ He knows how your mind works though, and he knows that it isn’t entirely the truth, so he dismisses everyone and pulls you up to your feet. You immediately fall right back into his arms, your balance gone. “Y/N, you might have a concussion. Let’s go home.” He’ll mumble softly to you. He tells everyone to pack it up without him, and they all understand and nod
♥ You have no energy left yo argue, so you nod and wave goodbye to everyone as you let Ushijima guide you out the door, everyone softly whispering their goodbyes. They were all familiar with serious concussions, after being hit in the head multiple times with Ushijima’s spikes.
♥ As he brings you home, he decides that he’d rather not let you walk, so he lets you ride on his back for most of the way. When you arrive at your house, your mother is outside, working on something in the front garden. He’ll inform her of what happened, and then give you a soft kiss on the head, before turning around and leaving
♥ After your mom gets you settled and you’re tucked into bed, warm and cozy, you’ll receive a sweet text from Ushijima first, wishing you a good night and apologizing for the spike, before telling you he loves you. As you type out a sweet response, texts from the rest of the team will begin to flood in, and it makes you feel loved even more

-I mean Bokutos overwhelming presence goes to a whole different level around his crush all you’re going to hear is HEY HEY HEYYY for days on end He’s determined to get you to love him the way he loves you and won’t stop at anything. Constantly calling you out and trying to find you around campus, if he couldn’t find you he would definitely start asking all your friends- telling them about his love quest
-He would 100% use all the cringey pick up lines that he and Kuroo could think of “SOMEBODY CALL THE COPS”

-We all know this boy has no shame, he would constantly be bragging about his wins and amazing volleyball skills to try and impress you, hoping you would love it and it would make you dream about being with him like he imagined. The whole team would sit there grimacing at the pure cringe oozing from his declarations
-I feel like he would definitely try to make them some form of bento to win you over, with all your favourites, it would taste awful but he was so proud of his ‘creation’ that you ate it. Akaashi tried to teach him how to make ome properly but he insisted on doing it Bokuto Style of course
-He’s gonna beg you to go to a game of his, even if he literally had to drag you and glue you to the seat. I can also imagine him screaming your name and asking if you saw how call he was everytime he scored a point! You’d have to scold him later though because he caused everyone to stare at you in the in the crowd, which isn’t fun, he thought it would make you like him even more though
-Despite Akaashi telling him it’s super creepy, Bokuto would learn your complete school timetable, waiting outside at the end of all your lessons to walk you to your next or take you to lunch. He would sometimes even try to carry you to your next destination, believing you needed to rest.
-After a while, I can totally see Bokuto leaving you laods of cute messages and occasionally flowers and chocolates in your school locker.

-He would try his best to spend every second with you ,when he’s not at volleyball practice, because he read in a magazine that the more time you spend with someone, the higher likelihood of them wanting to see you more. This would include himself turning up at your house randomly and uninvited for fun (he had good intentions and brought some snacks), him constantly inviting you over and asking you to study with him; he was desperate for your attention and for you to fall for him.
-When it came to the end of all these shenanigans, he would decide to confess fully. Practically screaming about how much he loved and wanted you to be his girlfriend. Of course you would say yes, not letting all his silly antics go for nothing
Daichi: He lives with his mom and dad in a small house with two floors. He has a good relationship with them, but there is occasional friction with his father. Usually an argument starts because of volleyball and only because his father had a little too much to drink. Daichi’s dad would prefer him to have a better-paying career that he would have to spend more time focusing on, instead of playing volleyball in his free time.
Suga: He lives with his mom and obnoxious little Chihuahua named Kaoru in an apartment building housing one other family. He and his mom like to hang out sometimes, but that usually consists of sitting together in the living room and reading or watching tv. They have a good relationship, but awful communication, so everything pents up and explodes. They had a HUGE argument the day before he started high school, and it ended with him screaming to her that he ‘just wanted his mom back’ from the ugly divorce she had gone through a year previous. Suga’s mom was young when she had him, and she would always jokingly tell him not to be a young mom…
Asahi: He lives with his widower father and his little sister in a small house with a single floor. His mother died a year after his five-year-old sister was born. His sister has a female guinea pig named Jimmy, after Jimmy Dean, the breakfast brand. X’D Asahi works very hard to keep the household running while his dad works. He knows that the role will switch once he finishes college, so he’s kind of anxious that playing volleyball will have have take a back burner.
Noya: He lives in a ginormous house with his rich mom and dad and a rather crusty old maid. His dad is a doctor and his mom a businesswoman, and they’re hardly ever at home, which makes his going to volleyball practice a breeze. He likes the idea of having pets but he’s too lazy to take care of them. He prefers hanging out at Ryuu’s house to hanging out at his own.
Tanaka: He lives with Saeko, of course! Not much to make into a headcanon because there is so much canon already.
Ennoshita: He lives with his mom and dad and Shiba Inu named Hime, though she responds better to ‘Bukiyona’. He mostly keeps to himself at home, but every week his mom insists that everybody plays a board game together and uses the night to talk with one another. Also, she made a very strict housekeeping chart for the men of the house, which consists of switching household tasks among the three of them to keep the burden light, the work fresh and not repetitive, and the house spotless.
Kinoshita: He lives with his mom and dad, both of which are pretty laid back and kind of let him do whatever he wants.
He holes up in his room to play on Tumblr and Pinterest and Twitter. He also has quite a few foreign penpals.
Narita: He lives with his grandmother and four rescue cats. They crack each other up. :>
Kageyama: I’m very passionate about Kageyama and his mom. His mom is a single mom and has been for almost his whole life. They are very close, and are legitimately best friends. His mom teases him all the time in an attempt to get him to loosen up and enjoy life more, and in the safety of their home, he can reciprocate. They have a relationship that others can envy. Kageyama also has a Djungarian hamster named Daisy, and her favorite food is milk. Kageyama couldn’t be more proud.
Hinata: He lives with Natsu and an ‘unnamed mother’. Not much to add to, besides the fact that he has a fishbowl and has to restock the goldfish every couple weeks cuz he accidentally kills them……..
Tsukki: Another that I can’t make much of a headcanon for. However, I do believe that Tsukki has a black tree monitor. The story of it is dramatic and took years. He wanted one as a lil kid, right? His mom agreed to let him have one, but he had to buy it himself, build it a large enclosure in the living room and research how to care for it until any question Mom had could be instantly answered, from feeding to breeding to its climate. Yamaguchi: He lives in an apartment with his mom and dad and a cat named Yuki. They have a good relationship as parent/son, but mom and dad are constantly at each other’s throats. Yamachan reaches out to Yachi and Tsukki after a bad row. Yachi cries. Tsukki has no idea how to react because he went through the same thing as a kid.
Yachi: We all know Yachi lives with her mom. I can’t even make a pet headcanon cuz I can’t see Yachi’s mom being okay with having a pet. ;-;
Kiyoko: She lives with her mom, dad, and little brother. Noya enlisted the brother into the Kiyoko Protection Squad and made him a special agent that could protect her at home. The boy is taking the role very seriously, and gets paid in popsicles.
Coach Ukai: Forever alone.

Oikawa: He lives with his mom. When I found out about his nephew, I immediately thought his blood-relative was a sister. So I’ll go with that. He wishes his relationship with his mom could be as close as Kageyama and his mom’s, but I guess that’s just another reason he can’t stand him.

• you were introduced to him one random night while you were looking for a walkthrough of a horror game you've been invested in. his stream had 35 views at best back when you started watching him.
• you bonded with him through the chat as time passed and had been acknowledged as an "og subscriber" by the time he got 10k subscribers on twitch.
• on the first day of highschool, you found out that you were in the same school as the small streamer you've been watching for a while now. and surprise, surprise, you were also in the same class.
• you didnt think to befriend him irl, since you thought that the viewer-streamer friendship you already had was enough for you. plus, you didn't want to cross a boundary with him as a fan.
• you were forced to sit together in second year though and started growing closer unintentionally.

➤ Kenma referred to you as the "classmate who always smells nice" during the first year of high school. cause it was true, you really did smell nice. you sat behind him and he always caught this refreshing scent coming from you. it was quite nice, according to him. he liked it.
➤ it was kind of awkward for both you and him during second year. awkward for him cause he wasn't used to pair-sitting arrangements and awkward for you cause you knew who he was and it was eating you alive.
➤ Kenma mentioned you in stream once, very casually. “my new seatmate in class smells like a fresh flower bed and has been talking to me more. should I be happy or scared?", he's joking around, of course. but you were silently screaming while watching the stream cause you knew damn well that seatmate was YOU.
➤ Kenma saw you playing a game he played on his latest stream during break time one day and asked you about it. you officially started talking more from that day on.
➤ he definitely gives you game recommendations that he's played during his streams, not knowing you already know the games from watching him and have in fact, already played all of them.
➤ after some time of getting to know each other more, Kenma starts inviting you to hangout with him at arcades and cyber cafe's. of course, with the addition of Kuroo tagging along during said hangouts.
➤ he is SO rude in the most funniest way ever. it just shows how much Kenma has really warmed up to you. he'd say stuff like, “[user], you're actually so bad at this game. it's so bad.” or “don't talk when I'm combo-ing”. but you can clearly tell that he's clearly just joking around with you, even when his tone is flat as hell like most of the time.
➤ Kenma told you he was in the school's VB team and you start showing up to watch him practice sometimes. the team got suspicious and started questioning Kenma if you were his partner, in which he firmly denied with a deadpan expression.
➤ he definitely unintentionally talked about you in stream from time to time without even noticing. casually drops : “my friend irl is really good at this game. I'd never tell them that tho lol”. little does he know you're actually watching his stream, and you've secretly clipped him saying that.
➤ Kuroo once caught you two sitting shoulder-to-shoulder, heads almost pressed against each other, watching a Valorant gameplay in complete silence.

then he gets sushed right after he says that.
➤ you two unironically text each other every day without fail. doesn't matter whether it's about, games, homework or just idle chat. you're ALWAYS texting each other about the most randomest of bullshits.
➤ he doesn't know when it happened, but you started turning into the one thing he looks forward to at school, besides kuroo and volleyball kinda. he doesn't think too much of it, just thought that it was normal to look forward to seeing a "friend". but, he would question the warm feeling in his chest that he gets whenever you smile at him from time to time.
➤ Kenma started inviting you to play with him during his streams. but suspiciously enough, one of his "og viewers" start disappearing from the chat whenever you hop onto a game with him. (I wonder why ahaha)

➤ when you FINALLY drop the bombshell on him and told him that you're actually that ONE og viewer he's been chatting with on stream everyday, he had to physically reboot. he genuinely got SOOOO embarrassed cause he's talked about you on stream AND has talked about [ur username] to you.
