He would find your presence strange as soon as you suddenly started walking next to him, as soon as he noticed the distress in your eyes and your labored breathing, Kakucho would immediately realize that there was something wrong.
"P-please pretend to know me, I'm being followed." You said in a low tone to him, as soon as he heard you, he pretended he knew you.
Kakucho gently brought you closer to him, acting as if you were an acquaintance "It's nice to meet you here! Come on, I'll take you home."
He would stay with you until you calmed down and made sure there was no one else chasing you, after which he would take you to your home.

Rindou would wonder why you were walking so close to him, that would catch his attention and it wouldn't take long for him to realize that there was someone following you.
"Pretend you know me, please! There's someone following me." You whispered with a trembling voice, getting even closer to him.
Rindou would initially be in doubt whether he should trust you, but he wouldn't forgive himself if he ignored you and then found out that something happened to you even though you were a stranger.
"You around here? I missed seeing you." Rindou would say, resting his arm on your shoulders and hugging you, keeping an eye on whether anyone would still have the courage to follow you with him by your side, he would stay with you for a while to make sure you were no longer being followed and walk with you to your house.

Hakkai wouldn't even notice his presence until you got closer to him.
"H-help me, I'm being followed, pretend you know me, please" You spoke in a low tone, he looked at you and stopped for a moment, but then offered his arm for you to hold.
"Good to see you!" He would say with an awkward smile, keeping an eye on the person who was chasing you, when he was sure there was no one else there, Hakkai would take you home.

As soon as you started walking next to him, he noticed how apprehensive you were, so he started paying attention to you and your surroundings.
"You ok?" He would say in a brief whisper.
"Pretend you know me, there's someone following me." You would respond in the same low tone, as soon as Manjiro understood the reason for your nervousness, he hugged you. "Wow! I hadn't even noticed you there, how long!" He said as he hugged you, watching around the street to make sure that person wouldn't be following you anymore, after a while, he would walk you home.

Baji would immediately be uncomfortable with the fact that you were walking so close to him, but as soon as he noticed the fear in your eyes, he knew there was something wrong, being a little more attentive, he realized for himself the fact that you were being followed.
You looked at it and said in a low tone that you were being followed. "P-pretend you know me, please." Baji looked back at you and gently pulled you closer to him.
"I finally found you! I missed you..." He would say. "...Who is this son of a bitch? I'm going to kill him." Baji whispered as he hugged you, you just replied that you didn't know that person.
Baji would spend some time taking care of you and then walk you home.

It’s been several years since Hakkai Shiba became the leader of the notorious Black Dragons gang. They are a powerful organization known for their ruthlessness and cunningness. He gained a reputation as a callous and cold-blooded leader who wouldn’t hesitate to take out anyone who crossed him. After having a long day of back to back meetings and negotiations with different organizations, he was finally on his way home. Tired, stressed, and frustrations are draining him mentally.
The moment he steps through the door, a warm sense of relief instantly washes over him. The familiar umami aroma filled his nostrils as he shreds his blazer and taking off his shoes. Following the sound of cute humming brings a soft smile on his scarred lips. Watching you, his beloved wife, stirring the pot with a bright smile. His indigo eyes trails down to your belly, it is slightly rounder compared to the previous weeks.
This is his safe haven.
He approaches your unguarded figure, wrapping his tone arms around you and feels you slightly jump. “Oh, Kai! You scared me.” You giggle out of relief, looking into his softened gaze, “Welcome home, honey.” Giving him a kiss on his cheek, bringing comfort in his fragile heart.

Dinner conversation topics are about plans for the nursery room, what color walls to paint and what neutral toys to buy. This helps him forget his responsibilities as the leader of Black Dragons, he is a husband who is just as excited as you for your baby to come. Hakkai listens intently to your ideas and offers his suggestions as well.
As the night grows close, Hakkai helps load the dirty dishes and brings you to bed. He carefully massages your legs and feet, tucking your pregnancy pillow around you. Placing his hand on your belly, “I can’t wait to meet our child.”
“Me too. You’re going to be a great father, Kai.” His indigo eyes widen in surprise, you giggle softly before closing your eyes. He leans in to caress your cheek, watching you drifting into slumber and lightly kissing your cheek.
“You’re going to be an amazing mother, [Y/n].” As he gets ready for bed, Hakkai feels grateful to have you by his side. Looking at the bathroom mirror, he sees your sleeping reflection. “I promise I will protect you and our child.”
Knowing tomorrow, he will have to go back to being the notorious Black Dragon’s leader but he will always be a husband and devoted soon to be father first.

See, Baji has always been a sneaky bastard. Having his fair share of pranks against you. It always ends up successfully as you were quite gullible when it comes to your boyfriend.
Of course, you love your boyfriend to bits no matter how annoying he gets sometimes. But everything has its limit.
So when you saw this prank on TikTok, where people prank their boyfriends by calling them with a different name, you knew you just had to do it.
One afternoon, while Baji was hanging around your room, you decided to pull the prank.
You were in the living room, watching a random movie that he picked. With your boyfriend laying comfortably in between your thighs.
"Haru, babe can you please make more popcorn," you said, trying to act casual about it.
"Okay, Rin," he replied.
"Wait what? Who's Rin?" you asked confusingly.
"What? I said, okay Y/N". Baji replied now facing you and looking more serious than ever.
"Baji, I was just pranking you," you said, trying to stop the tears from forming in your eyes.

You just felt bad pranking your boyfriend. Now, you're thinking of ways on how to make it up to him.
Takashi Mitsuya
Mitsuya was the perfect boyfriend you could ever ask for. He knows how to treat you right, absolutely trusts you, and is protective of you. Making sure that you take care of yourself when he's not around.
Now, pulling pranks on your Takashi is quite a different story. Most of the time, your pranks on him would fail. He would always reprimand you that your pranks are either not funny or harmful to you.
To make your prank on him succeed, you decided to pull this prank on TikTok. You think that this was a good prank that will surely get a reaction from him.
One afternoon, as you two were on his bike, you decided to pull the prank by calling him a random name.
You two were at a stoplight on your way to Toman's meeting. Mikey allows you to attend there because he trusts Mitsuya and Mitsuya trusts you. It was all good as long as you don't bother them.
While waiting for the green light, you asked your boyfriend.
"Yuki-san, can you accompany me later to buy some groceries?" you asked, trying to hold your laughter.
You felt Mitsuya tense up in your hug.

Hakkai suddenly felt loose to your touch. With his cheeks all red, he faced you.
"I'm sorry, Y/N -san. I am. I apologize for thinking that you'll ever cheat on me. I love you and I'm sorry," Hakkai said while hugging you back.
"Sshhh, baby. I know. It's my fault okay? Now why don't we go back to that nap." you said as you smiled at him.

Hakkai knew it wasn’t a good sign when his heart started to panic whenever you were around.
Even if you could argue of the times where you hang around him, it still doesn’t justify how he feels when you’re with him.
There’s that pace to his heartbeat that he can’t comprehend to why it’s reached that certain place and the continuous loss of his train of thought, the inability to utter the words he’d meant to say.
He was well aware that this wasn’t his usual set of emotions.
And the first thought that came to his mind when he realized was, “Shit, I like Taka-chan’s sister.”
Maybe he shouldn’t have stared at your smile for a long time or told jokes that made you laugh which was a sound he knew he liked way too much. Was he really blaming you of your beauty as to why he’s had a crush on you? He certainly was because there was no one else to blame for how easily he fell for you.
It was that comfort you give him, an ease that just surrounds him during your conversations. That energy and presence of yours he loved to keep around—everything made sense but why was his mind caught up in knots?
He should’ve expected this from the beginning but he assumed that what he felt back then was mere respect and loyalty as a friend but now he’s unsure that it’ll always stay like that.

He hated this part whenever you’d help him with his bruises—the close proximity and how your eyes showed nothing but worry for him. He doesn’t want you to fret over something that he caused because he just wanted to see you after a tiresome night knowing it was enough for him to fall numb to his own wounds.
“If I don’t have a single bruise after a fight, will you stay mad at me?” He teased as you finished packing up the first aid kit.
“We’ll see.” You responded before taking a seat next to him on his bed while you yawned.
“You okay?” He casually asks, handing you a pillow as you embraced it, sighing in relief at it’s fluff.
“While you were busy kicking ass, I was stressed with school.” You explained as his lips tug downwards, feeling a bit of regret that he didn’t get to help. “But it’s okay, if I get some sleep now I’ll be able to finish it tomorrow.” You leaned your head on his shoulder, closing your eyes due to your restlessness.
Hakkai gulps and there it was again—the race of his heartbeat for something so simple of a gesture but he felt how badly you needed to breathe from all the stress so instead of paying attention to this continuous visit of butterflies, he sits closer to you for you to get a better position. You timidly smiled at his action while he lets out a sigh.
You’re not making it easy to avoid liking you, Y/N. He thinks just as Yuzuha opens the door while she was about to say something yet stopped when she figured you were asleep.
“Mitsuya said it was time to go.” She informed him while you rose from his shoulder, yawning once more.
“Thanks for helping me, Y/N.” Hakkai thanks you as you sleepily smiled. “Goodnight, I’ll see you guys tomorrow.” You bid the siblings and the minute you left the room, Yuzuha is eager to know of what she just walked in on.
“So?”
“So what?”
“She was asleep on your shoulder and you’re red right now, at least tell me if you told her anything.” Yuzuha said, taking your place from where you previously sat.
If his own sister was able to catch onto his feelings then everyone else at Toman could reach that realization too—you were just always late to the party or perhaps, if Hakkai was lucky, Mitsuya doesn’t know it too.
“Look, it’d be awkward. I don’t want Taka-chan to think of me weirdly just because I like his sister.” He responds as his sister sighs. “Mitsuya would never do that. If you like her so much, why don’t you just tell her? I can see it in the way she stares at you, you know. You might be blind to it but it surely doesn’t get pass me.” She explains as if to assure him that it was possible for you to feel the exact same things for him as well. He’d be more than happy to know that there was at least one chance that could happen but the other end doesn’t look too good. What if he does confess and all he does is ruin a friendship that he desperately wanted to last? He’d never let it down and if that happens, he can already see the way everything would be awkward while his feelings were in tact.
And as he ponders on his decisions, your twin brother enters you with a playful comment.
“Sleep over at Hakkai’s room? Sounds fun to me.” He teases, nudging your sides while you rolled your eyes. “Nice to see your face without a single scratch and Hakkai had at least two.” Mitsuya throws you a drink while you opened it at the same time, leaning on the table.
“Is he okay?” He asks, taking a sip of what was in the can. “Yeah, he’s alright but you know what’s weird?”
Takashi turns to you while your eyes stayed on the label of the can.
“Taiju just—I can’t describe it.” You felt Mitsuya’s hand to your shoulder, somewhat worried for what you were about to tell him. You often visited the Shiba household just to walk with Hakkai and Yuzuha in the morning for you to go to school, sometimes passing by in the night after a fight just to check up on him but still it was weird for their older brother to be like that.
“Did he do something to you?” Your brother asks with a cautious tone as you shake your head. “He stares at me—differently. It’s been happening for a while now and I don’t know if I did something wrong.” You admitted before you drank the juice.
“Did he look like he was mad at you or threatening you?” Mitsuya follows through, hoping to understand the situation better rather than to give into this protectiveness over you to just jump on a man like him for whatever he did.
“He looks at me with a serious expression but he approaches me like we’ve always been friends, I’m sorry I just can’t describe it right—he just doesn’t look at me the way Hakkai does.”
Prior to your brothers interest to know if you were doing okay, your last sentence seemed to spark his curiosity even more but he sighs, knowing he doesn’t have to overthink about it unless you were able to decipher what’s been going on with Taiju.
“How does Hakkai look at you, Y/N?” Mitsuya asks, while it just settles in you how natural the words had left you but it doesn’t alarm you. You look back on the moments you’d catch him staring or just a simple glance given to you and every glimpse held it’s own kind of meanings, not really new to the leap in your heartbeat when he’d look at you.
“It’s a good kind of different.” You answered with a smile as Mitsuya sees the identical shine in your eyes the way he’d see in Hakkai whenever you walked in the room. He chuckles, finding the situation too similar to what he’s noticed. He places a hand to your head while you were close to the brink of letting the glass table be your pillow for tonight.
“I know ‘cause you look at him the exact same way.” He says before leaving to brush his teeth while you felt the heat to your cheeks at his statement. You knew it was a fact anyway. You stood up from your seat as his question replays in your mind.
How does Hakkai look at you?
“In the best way.” You whispered before throwing away the can with a sigh.
The morning comes in and there are two sides to the story. A boy who was drenched in nervousness to confess something he’s hidden for a long time while the girl was ready to confront her feelings she didn’t bother to deny knowing there was no escape.
It was the opposite with you for many reasons. With a steady and cheerful friendship, there was nothing to be nervous about when he was near. He’d always make you feel a certain amount of comfort and serenity even if your heart would get too antsy. Hiding what you truly feel is what you want to avoid knowing how difficult it’d be to contain yourself from liking him.
“Don’t let go, okay? I’ll get you out of here.” Hakkai said, intertwining his hand with yours as you skim through the sweat and bruised covered bodies. It had been a mistake to not tell you of their issue regarding Moebius and Toman since you walked right into the scene. Being acknowledged by the fact you were the sibling of one of the captain divisions, some of them tried to pry you into conversation not until Hakkai showed up throwing some punches for them to leave you alone which is why he’s leading you away from everything.
“You’ll get sick in the rain, you idiot. Go home, Y/N.” He says, untying his uniforms jacket to give to you, hovering it over your head. “No- I have to look out for the both of you.” You argued but Hakkai tightens his grip on you, sending you a smile.
“Stop worrying about me when you’re the person I’ll prioritize over anything.”
“Hakkai-“
“Go home— for me, please?”
“I’ll visit you later and you better not greet me with wounds, Shiba.”
“Noted, ma’am.” He says with a chuckle as he rushes to return to the fight.
This was from yesterday and it appears that it was the day you’ve had enough of having to act like you didn’t wish for your hands to stay like that for a while longer. You’ve always been aware to how you wish for these lingering touches would last more than they do or how it affects you when he’s arm is slung to your shoulder but you knew him too well.
It didn’t bother you that your twin knew of what you felt for his friend. He was even the one to tease you into it but he truly thinks that you two would be fit for each other so what he said yesterday was enough for you to know that he was okay with it but Hakkai doesn’t seem to know that for himself.
On the other hand, Hakkai has his hands full with a bouquet as Yuzuha pats his shoulder.
“Just go, you’ve got this!” She encourages as her brother nods. Somehow, he doesn’t feel as anxious compared to his first night of coming to the conclusion of his feelings. Still, there was that anticipation that stayed with him but a smile tugs on his lips when he can visualize your reaction when he gives it to you. They were your favorite flowers, tied in a group with it’s hues of beauty being a sight for sore eyes.
It was a Saturday so it’d be perfect to pick you up and with the time being he can still prepare himself for a confession but as he sits on his motorcycle, he sees your figure a few distances from their house but another body blocks his view and snatches the flowers from his hands.
Taiju began to walk your way as Hakkai has his eyebrows furrowed at what he just witnessed with anger flooding him. Taiju has never talked to you or has ever dared to go up to you whenever you visited. You liked it that way because of the things that the two other siblings tell him, is that it was better to create a barrier between him and you but this alarmed Hakkai for the purpose of how he walked towards you with an intention for something.
You paused in your steps as you spot Hakkai standing up from his motorcycle but what irked you was his older brother stood in front of you with a bouquet in hand.
You tried to ignore him by walking ahead, to get to Hakkai but he follows you, making it even more disturbing. There’s a heavy hand to your shoulder that makes you face him while his younger brothers eyes widen and his fist forms in a tight ball when he rushes to walk to you.
“I thought I was transparent for what I feel for you, so why are you choosing him?” Taiju argues, while you stood dumbfounded at what he just said.
“Feelings..for me?” you tried to recollect yourself from what you heard. You struggled to comprehend to what he said that was so transparent when all he gave was uncomfortable glances that were too unexplainable. Taiju hated the way you had a scowl on your face instead of something more accepting of his confession.
“As expected of a woman to be this stupendous.” Your nails dug deep into your palm with his statement as you stared at him showing how over you were with this pathetic conversation.
“Then there’s my answer. I’ll choose Hakkai over anyone else and he’d never treat me like this compared to an asshole like you.” You argued as Taiju rolls his eyes and there stood an open-mouthed younger brother of his. Peaking over your shoulder, your own eyes widen at how he heard the sudden confession of feelings. Taiju turns to him before he aggressively pushes the bouquet to his arms as he whispers in his ear.
“Give it to her right.” He threatened as he walked away knowing there wasn’t an argument he can win with you because if he failed to show his emotions, Hakkai did a whole lot better and even he can't tried to ignore the smile you give his younger brother.
“That was..yours?” you asked, pointing to the flowers as he coughs, a little startled to the fast pace of events.
“It belongs to you now.” He corrects while he hands it to you with a smile and a subtle heat to his cheeks. You held the bouquet in your arms as you stare at in admiration, loving every bit of it.
“Hakkai, this is beautiful—thank you so much.” You said to him while he takes a step closer to you as he takes a deep breath.
“I don’t need to think twice about choosing you over anyone else too.” He confesses, looking at you as Mitsuya’s questions resonate to you again. This was how he looked at you, the ability to let his eyes tell you everything he’s always wanted to say to you because words weren’t always enough.
“I was supposed to say a whole lot more than this but if it’s okay with you,” Hakkai says before lowering his head while you leaned in as he smiles and when you expected a kiss to your lips, he just insisted to place a kiss on your cheek, a simple way to show of how his heart was bound to be yours.
“So I don’t have any wounds with me right now, but is alright if I greet you that way starting from today?” With his words, you could only respond by intertwining your hands with his as you both smile.
“I’d love that.”

✩ You and Yuzuha are longtime friends and you were already aware of the fact that she had brothers, however, they were busy with gang matters so you rarely saw them.
