life-and-death-long devotee of the ‘bully your loved ones’ school of thought and if he really likes you he will do his part to ensure you never know peace as long as you’re on school grounds — once you’re out of that range you’re safe, though
loves the sound of your laughter and will do whatever he has to in order to hear it — even if it means making a complete fool of himself (not very difficult, to be frank) or tricking someone else into acting stupid on his behalf (which he does pretty often, much to the chagrin of nene and kou who are his usual victims of choice)
flirts with you whenever he sees you — sometimes in a cute, boyish way that you can’t help but smile at, and other times in his usual pervy manner which… well… might be amusing depending on the type of person you are
very protective over you and worries about your wellbeing a great deal more than he lets on — always keeping an eye, ear, or hakujoudai out for you just in case you run into trouble or just seem upset so he can step in and help you (in his own way…)
he cannot hide his jealousy to save his (after)life and gets terribly huffy, pouty, passive aggressive, and clingy when he thinks someone is getting too close with you
he can be a good listener when he needs to be and remembers the things that are particularly important to you — like anniversaries, birthdays, and so on — even if he does come across as pretty feckless most of the time
kou minamoto
kou couldn’t hide his feelings for you if you paid him all the money in the world — which is great for you as you’re never left with any room to doubt whether he loves you, but a bit embarrassing for him as he would much prefer having the option to act all suave and nonchalant without immediately giving himself away…
he blushes and flusters incredibly easily around you — like, seriously, he flushes pink at pretty much every compliment or touch from you. and the first time you kissed him he completely froze up, turned scarlet, and visibly bluescreened for a few seconds
very protective and whenever he senses even the slightest hint of danger he immediately throws himself between you and it, putting his life on the line even when he is noticeably terrified of whatever you’re facing
it’s fifty-fifty whether he calls you by your first name or by a pet name — and that pet name is usually something like ‘babe’ (because he thinks it makes him sound cool…)
the second he catches wind of a specific dish or sweet or baked good that you like, kou will spend every spare minute he has learning the recipe so he can make it for you (and, ideally, make it even better than any version of that food you’ve had before)
he keeps everything you give him — and on nights where he can’t sleep he will spend hours rereading every note you’ve given him, staring at every photo you’ve taken together, and skimming through your messages until he tires himself out
nene yashiro
she stares at you a lot when she thinks you’re not paying attention — sometimes making casual observations about your person and everything she’s learned about you so far, othertimes absentmindedly daydreaming about your future together, and occasionally just admiring your appearance and thinking about how cute of a partner she has
she tries desperately to play off just how giddy and flustered you make her, but there is no hiding just how red her face gets when you hold her hand underneath the table or how much she giggles when you kiss her cheek or how big she smiles when you call her your girlfriend — just don’t bring this up to her because, frankly, she gets teased enough by hanako and she doesn’t need you adding to it
would absolutely be up for doing matching couple stuff with you, would probably be the one to suggest it — her go to would be phone cases and/or phone charms, but she’s also up for jewellery and the like
she prefers to use cutesy or traditional style pet names with you — aka the kind of thing you’d expect to see in one of the romance mangas she reads — but as long as it’s you she’s happy to be called anything (except daikon, anything but that)
after she finds out about her lifespan she makes a point of doing every stereotypical couple-y thing she can with you — like sharing food, different types of dates, and so on
gushes about you constantly to hanako (who just finds all love pretty gross), kou (who does an admirable job of hiding his jealousy), aoi (who finds it super cute and asks after you all of the time), and even black canyon (who is a hamster and thus has no opinion) — it’s pretty cute, honestly
