More YuMay! Today's prompt was "Giving Gifts" so I wanted to do a piece that's been on my mind for awhile!
Hanamari is Xana's Somebody and lived during the KHUX era 🩷 she was Luxu's best friend (and first love), and she gifted him matching Wayfinders so that they'd always find their way back to each other no matter what the future brought~
(Spoilers: But Hanamari and Luxu had a falling out before the war started, and she hated that he was going to follow the Master of Masters' orders. Hanamari supposedly 'dies' in the Keyblade War trying to save her friends who were fighting, but she somehow ✨magically✨ makes it to the present era. She lost her heart, lost her memories, and became the Nobody known as Xana. Xana looks different than the way she did as Hanamari, so Xigbar doesn't immediately recognize her. But when he finds out that Xana and Hanamari are the same person....he decides he's never going to let anything happen to her again and will do whatever he can to keep her from remembering what happened all those centuries ago 🤫
