Age Statement

Now that I am older now,

I can’t drink like I had,

for when I drink a bit too much

the consequence is bad.

My limit is not even close

to what it used to be—

I once got drunk on five or six,

but now it’s down to three.

And if I have, the following day,

some things I need to do,

I need to keep my limit down

to one, or maybe two.

And if I drink a couple beers,

then follow it with liquor,

it’s physically impossible

for me to get much sicker.

And if I drink some liquor,

then follow it with beer,

the next day, I will be in hell,

and that’s my greatest fear.

My boozing days are over,

of getting buzzed, and such—

the good news is that drinking

doesn’t cost me quite as much.

Spring Break.. Mexico.. 2015. 🇲🇽 OYE, what a fucking trip this was. I went with my college friends from Bama on a Cruise to Mexico for spring break. There was about 20+ of us. It was a fucking blast to be honest… The booze was flowing, pills were being crushed down left & right. And we were in Mexico after all… so of course, the guys on the trip went straight to the Pharmacy during the day trips & stocked up on party supplies for the rest of the trip. It is honestly a blur. I don’t I got any sleep this trip. Don’t you just love photos? These pictures bring back so many hilarious memories but these pictures also show me how malnourished I was… I was probably around 95-100lbs at the time, 00 jean shorts were falling off me, I was legit shopping at the kids Abercrombie for a hot second for pants hahahah Photos are so incredible, they remind me of the good and the bad. I look at these photos and look at myself today and see how much healthier I am! Nodding head 🥴 ah nothing like a bit of youth on your side to get you through a hangover!! Could also be the fact that I a. Didn’t have children to deal with and b. Absolutely zero responsibilities.
