I normally doom and gloom post so I’d like to talk with joy and lightness for once

I feel better than I have in a long time

I feel like I’m finally free, like I finally managed to put the past behind me

I feel like my future is mine now

I think I just needed to remove all the uncertainty and anxiety in order to be at peace, like finally having all the puzzle pieces.

I was scrabbling for a way out, and that involved a lot of uncertainty and unknowns. But now I see the way out is to just set myself free.

What will be will be. And I swear that as an adult, I will talk about my story for children and teenagers so they never have to make the decisions I did. That’s how I break the cycle.
