Full Metal Alchemist x Murder on the Orient Express Crossover AU Part 2-The Train Passengers (Suspects + Victim). In case you missed it, here is Part 1 Here are the passengers on the train other than the detective, the director of the train company, and the doctor. I put Major General Hakuro in the role of Rachett aka Cassetti because I felt like he was the most well suited person alive in FMA post-Promised Day who would fit the role. That guy hates Roy, and in the 2003 anime he was worse, so in my opinion, he is perfect villain material over there. I don't know how to fit his wife and kids into the equation though.

Also, I had fun drawing Grumman dressed in female clothing. He is the most well suited to being like Linda Arden, with the mind to plan out something this complex. He just needed a disguise, and then I remembered that he dressed in drag in one episode, and it fit in perfectly. Extra notes: -Elicia was there when Maes was kidnapped, but was tied up and knocked out so she couldn't do anything to stop it. She lives with mental trauma from seeing Maes being taken away in front of her. That is why Gracia wants revenge for Elicia as well. -Olivier Armstrong taking part was motivated by her hatred for the corruption that let the criminal go and her fondness of Maes, though she is less emotionally open than Foscarelli about how the incident affected them. (Based on the head canon I saw where Maes has a puppy crush on Olivier Armstrong). -Hakuro used his connections with corrupt authorities to frame Maria Ross in taking part in the kidnapping. She was later proven to be innocent, but the ordeal from being accused and imprisoned turned her into a shut-in with health problems. -The "unexpected illness" that Lan Fan has is because she was pregnant, but neither of them were aware yet, they just thought she caught something. She badly needed rest since she was so sick, so that's why Ling took her place as one of the stabbers. That's all the notes for this part. The last part will have the main character + side characters for this AU, then it's done.

🤍 Which character is not as morally bad as everyone seems to think?

Ooooh this is a hard one. Would it be easier if I said Roy or Riza? Yes, but my cancelation will not be about beating a dead horse lol, we as a fandom talk about them plenty.

I'm gonna say King Bradley. Now, he is NOT a good person. No way. But I think we should actually delve into his situation with his wife. Like arakawa gave us confirmation that he loved her for a reason! We should do something with that! I am planning on doing something with it but that's another story hehe

💛 What's a popular ship I just can't get behind?

Havolina. I like actively avoid fics for them, unless they are a very very small subplot in a very very good royai fic. I don't like how the fandom decided that Riza and Roy's like "best friend" type characters should date. My personal theory is the only reason they are shipped is because Havoc's a guy looking for a girl and vice versa with Rebecca. I personally don't think their personalities would blend well together and if they were the same gender i have a gut feeling it wouldn't be as popular. Also I don't think they ever actually interact with canon like at all, so it's insane to me that lots of people ship this.

Joking (not really) aside, I like a lot of rarepairs, my favorite is probably Riza x Rebecca, but I have thoughts about Riza x Lust and Roy x Scar a lot of the time. Lesbian Riza and Gay Roy solidarity someone see the vision please I don't even think it should be canon but it should exist in fics please

I didn't do my masterpost in 2023, but this year I decided to take the time to do so!

This was a very Jaime/Brienne year, with many exchanges, but I'm happy that I wrote some FMA fics (all of Royai week!), and even a Faramir/Eowyn one-shot along the way.
