Meet Lute⚔️🪽

The Storm has come to crash down on everyone! Meet my version of Lute! I enjoyed playing with her OG elements & color scheme!

Made her outfit more protected. Really digged that chain metal around her neck so I added it around the rest of her body like a knight! Also added an eye with a cross symbol to look uniformed/connected to Heaven.

Kept her body type the same but added more sharpness. Wanted her look to give off slender athletic to contrast with Vaga’s shorter, more stout build.

Made her skin a light bluish gray tint.

Added a bluish tint to her other grays.

Added more gold too!

Made her bangs tied to the back, I was def inspired by Amity from the Owl House/TOH(love that show). Also made her eyebrows white.

No makeup, but has naturally long sharp lashes(uses eyeliner to keep them in good shape)

Made her wings layered and have a gradient like her armor.

Had her new sword come from her arm! Angelic light 💡

Gave her an ear piercing(gift from Adam for that extra “edge” as he used to put it)

Wanted her look to come off more military but also knightly. Like TOH, Emperors Covenant Guards

Also wanted to give her bird motifs for the heaven motif/plus birds eat bugs like moths(her grudge against Vaga). Wanted to give off birds of prey vibes, like shrike birds. @the-burd-lord suggested shrikes as they pierce animals on trees(fitting for Lute’s ruthless nature against sinners). Also wanted lowkey falcon vibes. Another reason I added the extra chain metal was to allude to feathers 🪶

Gave her glove gauntlets/like talons.

Made her halo gold.

Also done the whole 🌈Hotel Gang🌈 not just Vaga along with many more!

Hazbin Rewritten Part 2

Season 2 picks up right where Season 1 ended. Except that during her depressive slump, Charlie has an idea; redeeming sinners doesn’t have to be in a literal context, it can be figurative. So she devises another plan; she decides to improve the living conditions in Hell as best she can, in hopes that sinners will figuratively redeem themselves by being nicer to one another. In hopes that maybe that will be enough.

The Hotel is a safe place for sinners and demons looking for help, but not wanting to make that leap by themselves. She also vows to improve herself and how she interacts with others, being more mindful of their emotions.

I could also see Charlie reaching out to some of the sins for help, Asmodeus and Beelzebub in particular, in hopes that they will sponsor her hotel, if not put in a few good words at least. Maybe even going so far as to meet in person with them to do so.

She reconciles with Vaggie and Angel and anyone else she may have unintentionally hurt. Things basically go like in the 4Chan leaks for the original plan for Hazbin episodes, with lots of supporting character shenanigans. Charlie's new friends chip in and help as best as they can. For example, he’s by no means a therapist, but Angel could provide comfort and empathy to victims of abuse, and Fat Nuggets acts as an emotional support animal. No Huskerdust (Sorry!), Husk acts as the disgruntled, ‘asshole with a heart of gold’ dad to the gang. (Think Grunkle Stan from Gravity Falls)

Some Extras include:

I want to bring back some characters that either appeared or were stated to appear later in the series, but seem to have been dropped, such as Baxter, Crymini, and Mimzy. (I saw that she’s in the trailer, I’m just not sure what role she plays in the series), as well as everyone’s favorite news anchors Katie Killjoy and Tom Trench.

I could see Baxter and Sir Pentious being rivals at first, what with their ties to science, and constantly trying to one up each other with various machines and inventions, but eventually teaming up and causing chaos together at the hotel.

Also, Lucifer and Lilith are a loving couple like Gomez and Morticia.

Lucifer is a good dad who loves Charlie, but wishes she’d toughen up, so when the world fights, she fights back.

Charlie is like her dad, but closer to her mom.

Lilith is a busy opera singer. There were some posters of Lilith in the pilot that made her seem like she’s a singer or performer of some sort, and I want to keep that aspect. This is also why Lilith isn't returning Charlie's calls.

That’s all I have for now.

charlie and v*ggie redesigns

v*ggie's name is now Polilla, and Charlie's stays the same but its not short for Charolette or whatever its just Charlie.

Polilla has the same protective nature for Charlie, but is a bit more shy and doesn't really talk to anyone besides Charlie until she warms up to them. She's not as loud and "man-hating" anymore she just has some trust issues. She doesn't use her spear really, it's more for show. She gets furrier and more moth-like when she gets scared or angry. Maybe compare her to Raven from Teen Titans?

Charlie's personality is about the same but she listens more and actually loves Polilla and they are actually dating. 💕 Charlie has a better relationship with her parents but still believes hell doesn't have to be so cruel, and instead of trying to get demons to heaven she's attempting to reform Hell and fight against the genocide heaven is commiting. She has a cane bc she has trouble walking sometimes and her cane is kind of like her scepter, and it can control any demon. She doesn't use that power often, though.

Is there a way to support Hazbin Hotel without actually supporting it? The concept of a hotel in hell that rehabilitates sinners and what not is not that bad of an idea, but I don’t want to support Viv so idk what to do. I do like the idea of rewriting and redesigning the show

I think you did a really good job! The text bubbles are aligned in good spaces and help lead the eye where it needs to go. The only thing I would say needs changing is perhaps the size and placement of the speech bubble in the first panel.
