YES BABE! YES HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN! God I love this scene so much because this is the type of weird mind-fuck shit that Batman does. He is All About Fear. Bringing Scarecrow in this season was a strike of fucking GENIUS. He really thinks he has this moment and this ex-Robin well in hand but he's still on his back foot with Dick advancing every second. Also, Dick should be scary; he's Batman's kid. And while he's a pretty affable, congenial kind of guy when he's not brooding, he's also capable of inspiring genuine terror! He just doesn't like to do that! It's not his bag. But oooooh watching him do it made me yearn for this show's take on Cassandra Cain.
