i take pride in calling myself dominant and possessive. because i am. it's simply just the flavor of my love~ i refuse to alter it.
i loathe how easily these concepts are equated to being harsh and forceful, though.
❴ 𑣿 .❵ dominance is about trust. i do not take power from my lovers; they give it to me, because they know i will be responsible with it. they know that i will care for them, and guide them, and provide for them, and comfort them.
it does not make them beneath than me.
❴ 𑣿 .❵ ownership is about intamacy. when i tell them they are "all mine", i do not mean they are "only mine". i mean that every single piece of them belongs to me. can it also belong to others? of course, that takes nothing away from me. they're still mine.
it does not restrict their freedom.
i am dominant, and i am possessive, and i'd sooner rather feel my wings burn atop my back all over again than love any other way than this.

good plural culture is tucking yourself into bed saying "goodnight" to hear a bunch of headmates say it back :-)
This is good plural culture!
Yeah, this is delightful and comfy. 🧡
I remember before our syscovery, we used to do a similar thing but with “Hello”s. It was so soothing to hear a bunch of responses echo back ☺️

Good plural culture is Gabriel fronting for our bloodwork (hormone levels 🗣🔥) appointment and playing blockblast with white noise so the rest of us don't have to worry about the scary needle
-Riley :)
This is good plural culture!
That is nice. Bloodwork can be unpleasant, so it was kind of them to do that.
(Also hormone levels grrrrr /silly)

Good plural culture is my headmates being very helpful in helping me get acquainted to this human body :)

Headmates can be real sweet at times. A lot of us are non-speaking or don’t speak human language, and I probably would’ve never gotten to know, and get close to, some of us if other headmates didn’t translate. I really appreciate them, all of them.

Tea is so pleasant and good. We need to drink more of it. (Yummy.. :P)
Ignoring our own longing, that sounds fun! I hope all your tea is aromatic and warm.

good plural culture is my headmates leaving me blankets to huddle in when things are loud -🐟 (Marek)

It’s always so nice when headmates do things like this. I can’t describe my appreciation.

naoyou struggles to say "i love you too" to either of us cuz its first response is always instead as if we'd just told it the sky was blue
"thanks, i didn't notice."
"oh wow, really?"
"obviously" [playfully derogatory]
"i know."
"you're telling me this why?"
"...yes, and?"
always like it's just mildly confused we're telling it something it's already thuroughly aware of. it doesn't even ever entertain the idea that it's something novel, it's such an intrinsic fact it'd have to be braindead to think otherwise.
and, likewise, it doesn't bother saying it back either because it loving us is also so blatant a fact it'd be slightly strange and out of place to vocalise it.
it doesn't understand the custom of saying it back, or even saying it in the first place. none of us have to, we never need to be reminded.
we love our demon<3
and its sarcastic "i would've never guessed" is its "i love you both, too"
