#personal #both old pics #but i think they both match each other in the food filter the best to show off what i mean #i still think the funniest part of premed & med school is asking each other what filters look best for organs & other bodily things #i don't use my studyblr anymore bc this uni is super strict about photos but my undergrad was NOT strict about it #so we took pics all the time #and dissection days were so so funny during break periods/after labs bc those of us with studyblrs #would meet up & get coffee & show filters & edits back & forth to find the best filters for things we did that day #and i will never forget the HEATED ARGUMENT we had in a PUBLIC COFFEE SHOP over a filter for this one pic of a brain 😭#like two of my classmates were legit HEATED over the fact one of them thought one filter looked perfect & showed off the sulci well while #the other was on the verge of ATTACKING her over the fact that was STUPID & the filter she picked OBVIOUSLY highlighted the sulci better #people were staring and the rest of us at the booth were laughing #and the two of them were SO MAD at us for laughing bc 'THIS IS SERIOUS!!!' 😂😂😂#i still cannot get over it lmao #and i still have the pic too hahaha #i don't even remember what we decided on for the filter either. i just remember my friend & i physically holding each other as we slid down #the booth while giggling bc we were absolutely fucking LOSING IT but also scared we were gonna be kicked out of our regular study spot #oh man #i miss undergrad so so so much #like genuinely SO fucking much #that uni was so fun & I LOVED that campus #the fact my pomeranian always looks best in food filters cracks me up too #i go through them all just to make sure but it's VERY rare he isn't being put in a food filter lmao #when i post pics i usually edit them fully myself with an actual editor but if I'm doing things quickly presets will work #and man... finding out echo is best in food filters is my fave thing lmao #echo #echo the pomeranian #heart #heart dissection #filters

We're dissecting a cow heart, and we get to the part where the students are supposed to cut open the ventricles from the apex on up, more or less in half, and I'm trying to describe how to do it, and the best I can come up with at the moment is "like that scene in Beetlejuice where Barbara does the thing where she opens up her head."
