My family has a rule. When its your bday, you pick your cake flavor. So only had like basic vanilla or chocolate flavors when it was a baby's bday since they're too young to decide.

My dad always had red velvet cake. For my mom Texas sheet cake. Grandpa had Better than Sex cake. And for me, its cheesecake~
