Plant of the Day
Tuesday 22 August 2023
In a local garden show there was this exhibit of the distinctive flowers of Viola cornuta 'Tiger Eye’ (violet, pansy, heartsease, violetta, Johnny jump up). Violas are cool season plants and can remain in bloom throughout the winter.

Seedbeds
It was excellent day. It was a start of a country house season. Weather is fine. Day itself was hot. And closer to the evening it was a little fresh wind. And in a dinner time itself it was maximum hot. And later hot weather starts to be less intense. And I in a most hot period start to dig a seedbeds. As my brother said – what are you digging here a trenches. Because of seedbeds should to be a 5-6 cm in a depth. And I dig it with a shovel. Hour and a half. And I get tired. At the hot sun. But it was fun. I do a breaktime.
