Gotta appreciate the fact that the more time people spend with Chaz, the more disillusioned with him they become regardless of how much fun they were having at first or how attracted they were to him.

It's a small but effective way to illustrate how, while funny, Chaz's charisma is fleeting and skin-deep because deep down he is an extremely self-centred and shallow partner and character.

So points for good visual storytelling, at least.

I love the double-meaning here. Ofc, Stolas is always going to save Blitzo. He loves him. However, Stolas is also always saving Blitzo. Can't wait for the turn to table.

Loona might be partially Ars Goeitta…

S1 + S2 SPOILERS

I think Loona might have part Ars Goeitta genetics.

Firstly she’s able to change into her human form on command like Stolas. The imps (Blitz, Millie, & Moxxie) can’t which doesn’t even make sense because imps are supposed to be above hellhounds.

And, notice her demon form has 2 eyes underneath her eye. Similar to how Goeitta like Stolas have more eyes. — The imps or even succubus don’t even have demon forms like that even though hellhounds are the bottom in hells hierarchy. None of the other hellhounds have a demon form so far.

Also on her shorts, they have imagery of a crescent moon, so does Stolas’s grimoire.

I headcanon maybe Loona is a hybrid between a Goeitta & a Hellhound and was sadly put up for adoption since neither of them want a hybrid.

My Personal Favorite Thing From Apology Tour

I like the terms that Blitzø and Verosika are on right now. I like how they seem to have a mutual understanding. She doesn't want to or need to forgive him, but she wants to see him be better.

As our girl Charlie would say, "it starts with sorry"

She can tell he cares about Stolas a lot but she also knows Blitzø needs to work on himself and give Stolas a break before he pursues him again.

Also notice how when she saw Blitzø was at the party she wasn't furious and asking him to leave. She just says he was brave for showing up. She seems almost not surprised that he's there. This is because Verosika knows that Blitzø hates himself probably more than most of the people at the "I hate Blitzø" party. He belongs at this party more than anyone. Verosika realizes this when he talks about wanting to change his ways, and this is why she offers him cake.

I saw the piece of cake as a peace offering. She's letting him know she understands how he feels about himself and how it makes sense why he's at the party.

This was how Tilla showed love.

No wonder Blitz calms down when Stolas checks he's ok, by cupping his cheeks and stroking his face.

(Stolasdevoted broke my heart. So I'm breaking yours too, cus themselves the rules fokes).

This just makes too much sense.

Stolas even does this to check Blitz is ok, while he's pretending not to care. (Look at Blitz's cheeks going squeeshy there).

Blitz's love language

I think Stolas unconsciously reminds Blitz of the sence of comfort and safety, that Tilla was for him.

And how Blitz's mum showed him love, maps to things Stolas does for Blitz and Via. Making it easier for Blitz to subconscious recognize that Stolas is being caring.

(For lots of people how our parents/caregivers showed love shapes our sence of safety in adulthood).

And because both Blitz and Stolas are dads, they do have a parental way they care and protect their love ones. (If you're ever been mumed or dadded, by your friend with kids; you know what I mean here🙂).

This kind of care is something they both understand deep down, even when consciously they both aren't sure where they stand.

And Blitz is an extremely tactical person when giving and receiving care and love. Blitz wants to hold hands, and loves hugs from Millie, Moxxie, Fizz and Stolas.

Blitz loves cuddling his daughter anddoat on Loona in a very similarly ways to Stolas with Via too.

And he also wants affection returned tactaly when he's upset. This is the love language Blitz has. We can be dam sure Blitz didn't learn from his dad.

And while Stolas didn't have a parent to model this type of love for him from childhood, (instead Stolas taught himself to be the parent he'd had wanted, for Via, in his teens).

Blitz did, so he's get his tactical love language is directly from his Mumma.

Blitz even cuddled during Really Fast. (He woke up from spooning Stolas' back, and looks like they held hands all night too). Blitz every reenacts how cuddly he got with the grimoire proxied in for Stolas. 😆

Anyway, Blitz receiving affection from Stolas, in a way that unconsciously reminds him of his mum, would make he feel safe and cared for; in a way that'd be very hard to completely discount. Which might explain how he falls for Stolas so fast, kind of against his own reason.

Superficially

Tilla and Stolas have similarities to eachother, which add to Stolas feeling like a safe place.

Superficially both Tilla and Stolas are very tall, and have the same smile. Even her hair and circus brand gives Tilla a heart shaped face, much like Stolas'.

But think it's what we can infer about Tilla's personality and circumstances; that would had made Stolas felt more familiar. More like home. (You've probably met someone who you clicked with, cus they remind you of someone you've known for years🙂).

Parenting style

From Ghostfuckers flashbacks; we know Blitz's mum was incredibly gentle with him. Tilla's parenting style is drawing parallels to how Stolas raised Via. (Helluva uses similar framing to make callbacks and parallels all the time, so that's what we'll be looking at).

Because we've seen Stolas has this same gentle way of showing his love for both Via and Blitz.

This feels very similar to the gentle parenting we've seen Stolas raise Via. It's his parenting style.

Again parents just tend to do this with the people they love. And Blitz does it too with Stolas in Mastermind and Sinsmas. "Here you are-" under all that dirt' is something my mum would say.

But ok, back to that cupping of Blitz's cheeks, and face strokes reading as love to Blitz because of his Mumma... you know what else does?

I've joked before that when Blitz gets caught by DHORKs; it reads like Stolas just saw Via playing in traffic. Cus come on! 😆

Look at this☝️ 'Mum is angry, you made her worry, and she loves you'.

(If Via had actually been at risk of being hurt in Seeing stars, she'd would have definitely set off this mood).

Tilla personality playing into gentle parenting methods- bit more of stretch

Heh we've also seen Stolas have a snarky wit with both Blitz and Via too (It's how Stolas and Via communicate together as part of their love language).

It's why Stolas often understands when Blitz is taking the piss with him, like in harvest moon festival or seeing stars.

Honestly think there's a very good chance that Blitz gets his wit and offbeat sence of humour from Tilla. Hopefully we find out for sure one day🙂.

Stolas also has a similar way of redirected Via and Blitz gently when needed too. Like when Blitz's mades a joke that makes him uncomfortable.

And the fact that this works, without pissing Blitz off; makes me think it's something he's used to people doing. But we've kinda only seen Millie do it.

Blitz definitely has a thing for parents that love their kids, and who try their best for them.

And someone who not only likes kids, but does the best he can for them; is a big tick for a romantic partner for single dad, Blitz.

Blitz even trust Stolas with Loona. Even when freaking out he knows Stolas would never hurt Loona, only standing in front of Moxxie and Millie till he calms down.

This trust has made Blitz dream of raising their girls together. Which is really sweet.🙂

(Heh and Blitz just also has a daddy kink in generally lol. Not just a thing for good dads).

Stolas being a loving, gentle dad was definitely something that had Blitz falling for him. Even the dorky Disney dad look, and the pink shirt look were doing it for Blitz lol.

The good parent, that puts up with the abuse, for the sake of their kids

Stolas isn't a perfect dad. That is impossible to be when you raising a kid with an abuser, like Stella or Cash.

All you can do is mitigate harm, keep the peace, walk on eggshells to manage their moods around the kids; and try to hide the worst of it. This is some of stuff that left Via feeling confused and betrayed, like the divorce came out of nowhere. Instead of what it is, a desperately needed safety measure from someone trying to kill him.

But I think the fact that Stolas had tried to put up with the abuse, for 17 years for Via; would add to the familiar feeling that Stolas give Blitz.

Tilla was his and Barbie's loving, good parent, who appears to stuck it out for them. Who tried to make it work for her kids.

(These two photos give me similar vibes. Cash might have been less murdery, but he still left his wife and children to burn).

Cash also spent most of his time on screen manhandling wee Blitzo, so the abuse is obvious.

He was even very happy to sell his son for pocket change. And risk the kid's life by making Blitz to steal for him. All while useing Blitz's love and loyalty to his mumma, as the way to forcing to do so. Fuck Cash Buckzo.

Sticking it out for kid(s) is the same situation Blitz finds Stolas in, when they reconnect as adults.

While Blitz hasn't fully clocked just how bad Stella's abuse is yet.

There are lots ways Stolas reacts that is setting off alarm bell for Blitz. Even though Stolas' privage has slowed down his recognition.

But Blitz was able to work that out straight off; that Stolas is Via's main parent, and that the marriage was trash.

(Stella was loudly bragging about how crap the marriage was, around when Blitz was brought in. And the anniversary party having large banners saying "Not Divorced!!" The pictures on the walls in hall).

Even when Stolas was panicking that Via was lost on earth, he never suggested asking Stella to help look for Via. It's very telling when you know they's no point asking the kid's other parent.

I can see Blitz being extremely proud of Stolas having the courage to leave, and demanding that divorce.

Because Blitz has been where Via was, and Tilla never got that chance. (I'm dieing to see Blitz talk to Via about it at somepoint). 🙂

So yer, these are the reasons I think that Stolas unconsciously made Blitz feel safe and cared about, by having a similar love language to the one Blitz grew up with.

And just because they are both dads, they both doat on each with a lot things like face strokes, cheek squishs, and goodnight kisses.

Figured Andrealphus is a sexually repressed closeted gay man, trying to act straight by mentioning his sister’s attractiveness almost everytime he speaks.

Okay so here’s when everything what I’m about to say from now on becomes far fetched. It might not even happen.

But I wonder, will Andre eventually get a gay awakening, a darker version of Stolas’ awakening? Andre is very entitled and full of himself. Giving his personality and how sexually repressed he actually is, I have no doubt that he will handle his attraction to another person very poorly.

Take this with a grain of salt, but apparently Viv said we’ll get a “hellfire” type of song in the future. She also apparently said that Andre would continue to play a bigger role in s3, so it could suggest that the song could be sung by him.

I’ve seen other fans talk about this. But If the “hellfire” type of song is true and it is indeed sung by Andre. What if Andre develops some twisted feelings for Blitz? You know, Esmeralda style? I feel it’s very in character for Andre to act like Frollo in that regard.

Even though it desturbing and terrifying, it would really be interesting storywise to see Andre losing his mind for a being he should find repulsive and unworthy of his attention, just like Frollo with Esmeralda. It’s like the worst thing that could happen to him. We know how Andre view imps.

If you haven’t listened yet to “Hellfire” from the hunchback of Notre Dame, I highly recommend it. It’s sung by Frollo and it’s about his lust and obsession with Esmeralda. It really is such a good villain song.

Edit: Okay so I’ve noticed some people discussing that it could very well be Stolas instead of Blitz. I can really see this being true, haha. I love the way you all are thinking.

Blitz ALWAYS intended to talk to Stolas BEFORE he stole the Grimoire

I’ve never seen anyone talk about this scene and with the prequel coming, I figured now is the perfect time.

Earlier in the day, long before the “Not Divorced Party,” you can see Blitz at the window, trying to get Stolas’ attention.

He sees Stolas with the Grimoire and immediately tries to open the window.

If his only intention was to steal it, he would have waited until after Stolas had walked away, leaving the book unattended on the shelf.

He even looks distraught when Stolas doesn’t notice him and leaves the room.

Then later, when Stolas says he could have asked to visit, Blitz makes a joke about scaling the wall but then says under his breath that it was easier than trying to go through Stolas’ staff.

There’s literally no reason for him to have said that unless he’d actually tried.

He may have always planned to steal the Grimoire, but he had also planned on talking to Stolas first.

Which means that he may have originally intended on asking Stolas to use the book, but switched gears when caught breaking in and then faced with a tipsy, silly, sweet Stolas.

Either way, Blitz is someone who hates the idea of being dependent on others, yet he knew this would make his entire business model dependent on Stolas’ cooperation.

I think he was willing to put himself in that position because he already trusted Stolas. And more importantly, he was confident that Stolas would trust him.
