How the fuck would you turn NYSM into a ttrpg?!?!

Everyone would be original characters of course cos it would leave openings for franchise character cameos. Maybe start the party off like in the first movie where they're following blind instructions from The Eye for initiation.

But then how would it work game mechanics wise???

Like would everyone be playing rouges assuming 5e??? Would they all have different specialties?

Would it even be a fantasy setting? Cos I'd much rather play this type of game in a real world setting.

With that in mind, what game system would even work? 5e? Some form of Daggerheart? Kitbash (for lack of better word) different systems????
