Okay so story behind this—

This is a redraw of an old drawing we made in April 2022

Back then, we weren’t really that good with proportions and stuff but we did had a knack for colouring

This was the aforementioned drawing

And I wanted a tribute to this wonderful ship because why not—may as well give Helsian shippers some content as well

Hels has found himself a king. The reincarnation of an ancient king turned evil dark god. Said incarnation is even a god of his own standing. So hels was surprised by how easy it was to kidnap Grian, and was incredibly pleased when grian even seemed... Greatful?? To be kidnapped. But Grian didn't call it kidnapping, grian thanked hels for *rescuing* him. Turns out it takes a lot of power to wrangle a god into submission, and dispite being an evil deity, grian didn't deserve their 'taming'. Now the hermits are gearing up to 'rescue' their partner, and hels has found himself on the hero's side of the story all of a sudden- he needs to prepare, and fast.

Hels has a reputation, dammit! But also, it feels really nice to have Grian look at him like he’s a guardian angel and thank him for freeing him. But he’s not good! He’s evil to the core!
