I've tended to read Snape as Jewish (coded at least), so you may have more religious diversity than you realize. Although a lot of the coded stuff is rooted in antisemitism, like his hooked nose, bat-like appearance (vampire/blood libel), dual loyalties... (by which I am of course referring to his work as a spy on your behalf, what else could I have possibly meant?)
Intriguing. And here I assumed nearly all of my ranks were Christian or Catholic - or agnostic/atheist. If any of my ranks were practicing Judiasm, why would they not tell me? I mean, I can understand the hesitation, with their religion's unfortunate history of discrimination, but I am indifferent to all religions equally.
