isn't it ironic how the horrible things someone says that are meant to break you
actually some how end up making you stronger?
For example, my ex said a bunch of awful things to me after the break up.. the first time reading it I felt like a pathetic useless thing.. As time passed and I would go back and read the terrible things, I began to notice something changing.. I noticed all these things he rattled on about weren't me at all.. and I was so silly to have believed HE could DEFINE ME..
I read the awful terrible things again tonight and of course I'm still affected, but less and less as time goes on.. I'm becoming stronger the farther apart he and I are.
He thought those words would break me, little does he know they have given me the strength to rise higher than I ever have before.
