My Nightmare Before Christmas decor I made for Solstice 2024!

My mom is in the middle of moving into a new house. She doesn't have a place to put an actual Christmas tree so I made her a tiny one. I didn't use a pattern. I crocheted a cone and then used the crocidile scale stitch for the leaves. The ornaments are actually sewing pins.

Although honeysuckle needs to be carefully managed so it doesn’t choke out your trees, you can always save the trimmings for weaving! It’s a wonderfully strong and flexible vine to work with. This one was growing high on one of our Hemlocks, and I’m glad we caught it before it damaged the tree. Handmade gift tags

After finishing the wreath, I had quite a lot of flowers left which I wanted to make something out of. After checking through my supplies, I also found some previously made papers that had a rustic feel to them and so the idea was born! Handmade gift tags, with a couple of small twigs attached with stamped seal wax. These were very easy to make and why not add the recipients favourite flower for an even more personalised gift!
