Buddie + Angel
There was an angel in his kitchen. Okay.
Okay!
Eddie had been to war. He faced different emergencies every day. He drove sort of cross country with a seven year old. He walked into burning buildings for a living! He could handle this.
He could handle a 6'2" gorgeous half naked man in his kitchen trilling happy noises over some cold french fries that Eddie had forgotten to throw away before he'd face planted into his bed.
He'd sort of thought the whole thing had been a dream but apparently he wasn't so lucky because said angel was standing in his kitchen, eating french fries, with his mouth open.
Eddie had pinched himself on the thigh to be sure.
Those blue eyes that were almost too alive and too bright to be real practically sparkled when he saw him and the consuming of french fries almost turned into inhaling as the angel bounced on his toes. His smile was all cheek and lit up his whole face though... that could've been the glowing thing. Eddie was pretty sure he'd glowed yesterday. There had definitely been some kind of glowing involved.
Jesus, he sounded like a crazy person!
Eddie's eyes trailed down the curves of the angel's muscles on his torso and oh thank God! At least, he'd managed to keep the borrowed pair of boxers on in case the neighbors saw.
There was nothing Eddie could do about the wings though. You know. Those big white ethereal things that kept twitching every two seconds like they were sensing the space around the angel before tucking back into his spine to make room as he dug in for more french fries, uncaring about said neighbors looking in.
Wings.
An angel... in his boxers... with wings... in his kitchen.
Nope. Nope, he couldn't handle this. Eddie needed to call Bobby.
