THIS IS PERSONAL PREFERENCE!!! These are not good and these are just for me personally, and it’s gonna be heavily based on my personal headcanon

Here’s my silly low effort redesign cuz I’m busy like 90% of the time

And here’s my new stupid teirlist I made that I probs won’t even have time to get to it or finished… but I’ll try my dam hardest. Yes some battle suits are left out cuz they don’t annoy me enough or that I kinda don’t give a fuck djjdjdjd

Idk if ppl who began to follow me cuz of my first lot of redesigns and headcanons I’ve done for HI3 are still here…. but if ur still here hehe yep I’m back at it again and this time I’ll try to finish it. This is for your guys<33

And tbh the only reasons I even had motivation to even do those last lots was cuz of the amount of support I got from those ones mdndmsks and I kinda feel bad I never got to finish it… so hopefully I can finish this one *hope* but I just wanna say thanks for the support from those old post if some of you guys from back them are still here<333

So I redesigned Hyacine-

susannah redesign... again. same procedure as last time, my notes are below ⤵️

this is mainly a result of me reading the manga but i've really come to like how purple looks on susannah. i still stand by the older design i made but the green and the purple can coexist. they can be friends

my one palette-related problem (my other gripes were adressed in the last post) with her battlesuit is the white, also known as the elysiafication. i normall dont have a problem with white taking center stage on a design (i think HoHe is BEAUTIFUL), but it gets boring when every single battlesuit is the same. so i removed the white from her palette entirely, and replaced it with black and dark purple like her phosdjinn outfit in the manga.

i've also drawn her stature differently as i've explored susannah more as a character. she's sweet and a little shy, but not timid like seele used to be, so her design has a lot of straight lines with gentle curves, reflected in her face, hair, and clothes. susannah is also seen using bear claws to fight in the manga which is SO CUTE HELLO? HOYOVERSE WHY DIDNT YOU USE THIS. so i'm choosing to think of susannah as a meelee fighter who uses her upper body a lot, hence the broader shoulders. mourning the loss of a set of cutsey bear-themed gauntlets every day.

i did like the introduction of hot pink to her design in the game though, so i kept that. i think it adds a lot to her palette

and dont ask me about the hairstyle. i couldnt decide whether i liked my designs pigtail-buns or the original designs low pony so i did both. logic be damned shes got hella hair

I’m warming up to part two, I still need to complete tho… but rn I wanna draw my bb<<333 she’s so cute and I can’t dnukdhukhd i have just an enibini problem with it and i thought I just draw it, it might change in the feature but I love her red star motif sm she is indeed the brightest star<<<333

Anyways her game play is so fun and I’m hopping to get her hehe, and she’s sober all very ditsy and silly<<333 and I love ditsy and silly characters

Oh and I forgot to explain her shoes, they have wheels hehe

Today on "brainstorming here cuz my irl friends don't play honkai":

Earlier I noticed that finality's wings (?) tend to extend and retract in and out of Kiana and that kinda got me thinking about what if every aspect of the design functioned kinda like that? I'm thinking something like Aerial in Witch from Mercury where she has some independent drones that come out of her body and combine to take on different shapes and weapons (episode 2 fight scene for non-spoilery example)

messy thumbnail cuz I'm still working this out in my head, but I'm thinking maybe the default state would be a large set of wings that separate to form whatever weapons Kiana wants (and each time the drones separate, the wings get smaller). As much as I like finality's current attack sequence, I think I'd want this version to have a rotation that's something like "pistol> drones + fists> sword > greatsword> drones shooting from above> back to pistols" to sorta elude to Bronya, Fu Hua, Mei, Himeko, and Theresa's weapons. I also think it'd be fun if we got Bronya giving Kiana the drones in the same way we got Mei giving her the sword.

Going forward with the general aesthetic, I'm thinking maybe doing something that has more of honkai's classic mech aesthetic, but with the imaginary tree roots and flowers sorta breaking through it? Also still debating how much honkai corruption I want on her skin :/
