The Eaton lake trip was awesome! Even though this trail is only a 4.5 km trip one way it is all uphill with a elevation gain of 900m, add a 40 pound backpack and it's slow going up to the lake. However, we made really good time as it only took us about 3 hours. The lake is absolutely beautiful once you are there, I could see tons of rainbow trout in the lake from our campsite which was cool and for the first time in a while we could actually have a campfire. There was also no moon so we could see so many stars! It was a great trip, we plan to do more backpacking this weekend! :)
