well my horror rune thing is actually focused more on the other flowers being the horrific horrortale-like monsters.

see, to invoke not only more rudy imagery but also chara imagery. flowery has a disease that is killing him basically, think hanahaki but without the love concept and also mixed with a zombie like virus that makes you rot and lose limbs

the other flowers are trying too hunt kris down to get the SOUL as they think it can heal flowery. The reason they think this or even KNOW about the soul is because carol and asgore discussed it infront of them as they are in a rather private area in the flower shop where carol and asgore usually talk.

theres ALSO a reason the other flowers are all monstrous, flowery’s light world/flower is wilting and it made asgore panic, so he tends too flowery the most, he still waters and give sun too the others but the mutations asgore would usually get rid of have a chance to grow more as he so focused on flowery.

oh this is so cool as fuck anon!!!! 😲😲 i loooove this concept and would kill to see some fanart/fanfic associated with it...you could be very cheeky and make the disease ROOTS rot, combining the actual disease with that one very popular Deltarune theory 😉 this would work if Asgore is panicking, trying to preserve his wedding bouquet and accidentally over-watering Flowery...i can just imagine how delightfully fucked up he and the other flowers would look, it'd be awesome 👀👀 thinking about the way Chapter 5 could be flipped on its head in Horrorrune...the flowers hearing stories about Kris and not becoming full of dreams, but envy. wanting to be healed, wanting Asgore's care and attention, wanting their mutations cut away and to save Flowery at all costs...and then combining it with learning about the SOUL!!!!! gahhh i LOVE this 🔥🔥🔥

has anyone made a horrortale + deltarune take yet because i have some thoughts?

i feel like, since the circumstances of the underground are what turned undertale into horrortale, you could take a wildly different approach with deltarune right..

these aren't in any particular order but i definitely have some ideas, if not a horrorrune then some other creepy/unsettling au

generally speaking i think an arg-esque horror take would go a lot better for deltarune but that could be me being internet-horror pilled

kris still has their weird kid/alt-coded thing going on, but specifically accentuating a creepypasta-fan type deal. their quiet nature is far more unnerving. they def have a staring problem

noelle... not-deer.. like a semi-realistic deer head with a far quieter, almost hushed voice. not-deer + krampus inspirations

big maybe about this one—maybe noelle comes from an ancestry of winter forest spirits that take away human kids? could contribute to why kris is the only human in the town

i think the dark world should take some inspiration from the dimensions/realities of Mother Horse Eyes + some Yume Nikki for good measure

chapters. seven deadly sins. thematic similarities. sounds like an obvious connection to me tbh (gluttony being chapter 1s whole thing and the reason the Spade King looks like That)

Queen + I have no mouth and i must scream + other various uncanny ai... actually now that i think about it, her world could definitely be distorted in a way that resembles early ai image distortions, i think that'd be really cool

dark fountains fundamentally break down reality, aesthetic and distortion aspects of the dream/dark world creeping into the real world with a rapture-like event coming closer with every opening

Let me explain something,

so.. as you guys know, This au was abandoned by "IMToxicWaste" and "The Gravity Breaker", of course, it was.. "adopted" by: Little_Balloonicorn, but I noticed that they are not very active either,

I tried to contact them, I honestly do, and yet, I'm still waiting for response,

but year ago, I used to help with this au, like.. I drew stuff and other things but now, it just gone

and.. at one moment, I decided to rewrite this au.
