Reading week 02/03 - 08/03

I've asked my Egyptian gods oracle deck for a message for this week, and Horus came by.

I think Horus the divine falcon is giving a message of hope with his card of stability and equilibrium. There's a great need of both of these things in the world right now, and I am sure he knows it.

He can overturn negative things into positive, and the card suggests to find an inner equilibrium, our inner peace in this chaotic world. The lord of the sky is always there.

There’s no concrete proof of this, but I’ve heard this gnosis echoed by multiple Luciferians and Lucifer has more or less confirmed it with me, and it feels right.

Did you guys know that Lucifer is the Eye of Horus? The Eye of Horus was often and originally represented as the Morning Star itself, and seeing as to how Horus is the avenger, it makes so much sense to me that the God associated with liberation and revenge also encompasses the light bringer.

This brings new meaning to highly honoured Freemason Albert Pike's often quoted verse:

"Lucifer, the Light-bearer! Strange and mysterious name to give to the Spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the Son of the Morning!"

They’re both entities that represent healing, enlightenment and protection. Lucifer has a lot of symbolism having to do with eyes, the all seeing eye and the eye of providence associated with Lucifer very likely stem from Horus, and I’ve always felt a great connection between Horus and Lucifer that I couldn’t explain. The first time I ever invoked Horus it felt extremely familiar to Lucifer, and I immediately felt a connected to him as if we had met before.

I’ve seen so much stuff online about the eye of Horus being satanic or associated with Lucifer in some way, usually by paranoid Christians who think that all other religions are satanic. But it’s really cool to think there’s an actual basis for it.

There is also a large. *bird* I've seen 3 times. All 3 times were near train tracks. The last time? Yesterday? I peed myself it scared me so bad.

Which Horus do you worship, Horus the Elder or the Younger? Or, maybe, some kind of syncretism of two? Or some secret third option?

So in my understanding, there are actually quite a few versions of Horus that have been worshiped, and how I understand it is that they are all facets of the same god. I see Horus as having many faces. The face that is closest to me is Horus the Younger, however I worship Horus in all of his facets and faces.

Tbh...I don't think I've ever clarified that out loud in words, as I just got a sense of Horus the Elder. Lol, thank you for your ask!! That I clarified that will bring me even closer to him, I think.

A scene: the Egyptian Revolution. Heru (Horus) and Set arrive, on time, among the crowd.

Horus is the youthful and troubled ruler of a world riddled with injustice (to put it lightly) and conflict. He stands for order, but is this really a world which needs more "order"? Set is the cunning and skilled element of pressure/chaos as he has always been positioned within the system. He stands for the power in chaos, but is this a world which really needs more chaos? They know each other very well, having been in a consistent power struggle since the beginning of that story, as is their role in their world. Horus' eye, the one Set plucked out and Isis his mother healed, cannot stop crying. He can't stop seeing, his name that means "the one on high"; Horus cannot stop seeing, Horus cannot stop crying. The youthful prince is burdened by the role he has to play; he does not know what he needs to do for this world, only that he is needed, and he has no choice to turn away. He is burdened by the shadow of his father, ever a more wise and just ruler (even now, in the Underworld), ever beloved, and more becoming of the role than he. He is burdened by the love of his mother, who worries for him, and he does not want her to worry. What is a prince in the modern world? What is a god who oversees the realm of just rule and power? Today, the Egyptian people have come together to do something new; something dangerous and powerful. Heru thinks that he has decided on what he is for them. Set is here too. They have been working closely more than ever in this modern era, where the power of chaos and the concept of justice often go hand in hand. His mother wipes away the tear tracks from his eye, says she will hold the grief so he can hold up the crown [the anger/the belief/the yearning/ the ...]. Heru thinks that he has decided on what he is for them.

They let go of one another. Set disappears into the people around him, becoming a part of their voices, their unified chanting and angered cries. Up above the struggle, a falcon soars across the sky, its shrill call turning heads that would otherwise only have time to look at what immediately surrounds them. It is a strange moment as the people in the streets turn their faces to the sky. Involuntarily, their gaze follow the arc of its flight, as its shape lifts something in their hearts. Among the ceaseless fight, it seems to mean something from a language they no longer understand.

"Hey, when was the last time you saw one of those?"

High above the city the falcon soars. Below him, he sees the extent of the protestors, he sees the shape of their power, he sees his uncle among them. He bestows his blessings upon them all.

I can't tell what kind it is from the pictures but it was huge 😍
