The sixth collage from my series: "13 Full Moons". 🌕 This full moon is most often called the Strawberry Moon. But you can also hear the names: Rose Moon, Berries Ripen Moon and Hot Moon 🌕🍓🌹 It's been half a year already!

Hot Moon is what happens when you combine the scientific detail of Andy Weir with the politics, action, and character depth of the Expanse. It also includes a badass main character (in the best way), hyper-competence out the wazoo, moon dirt bikes, zero-G gun battles, and everything going to Hell in a rocketship because the Soviets have declared war on NASA’s moon base.

You can absolutely bet I’ll be all over the sequel, and that I’d trust Vivian Carter to fuck shit up in my defense any day.

Little Brother’s Moon | New Moon in Gemini | June 3, 2019

There is a hectic, nervous energy about this New Moon in Gemini. The Little Brother is rambunctious, hyperactive, and mysterious; he is curiosity incarnate. He has a hundred ideas, roughly every five minutes. This Moon could be problematic for those already high strung, and can lead to hyperactivity. “Concentration is difficult; perhaps this is a better time to go out with some (preferably wild and crazy) friends, rather than work late at the office.”

This New Moon starts the blossoming of the Honey Moon phase. The Honey Moon is all about transformation. “A time to reinvent our lives, change our personal realities, and become what we were meant to be.”

This Moon is also referred to as the Strawberry Moon, appropriately named for the short-lived season of harvesting strawberries. Perhaps this is the time to go wild without inhibitions, and for those things you’ve been telling yourself not to do...DO THEM. Live like the Little Brother -- “life should always go fast and never be boring.”

Because this Moon’s energy is full of chaos and transformation, I think a manifestation board is the perfect thing to begin this Moon’s journey to fullness. It’s a good way to focus on what you want in life and to help hone your wishes and magickal powers in one area, full of your deepest desires. Live fast and furiously. Ask for everything you want!

Magick Bulletin Board Spell

You will need:

a bulletin board

construction paper

scissors

markers

thumbtacks (or tape)

If you don’t want it to be quite as large or cumbersome as a bulletin board, you can always add it to your BOS so you can carry it around with you wherever you go!

Separate your board into sections. For example, the left corner could be for items of prosperity, the right corner for healing, the lower left corner for protection, and the lower right corner for love. The center would be for things that don’t fit in the four categories. Cut the construction paper into lots of shapes. Let your imagination wander as far as you’d like. You could have red and pink hearts for love, or maybe an angel shape. How about green snakes for healing, or even a green heart? Rectangles (books) for education and studies, a blue triangle for dreams or psychic work; a cloud for rain magick, or a sun for that pleasant day you need.

Before you add the shape to the board, hold the shape in your hand, close your eyes and visualize what you need. As you pin the shape to the board, say:

and win.

With silver moonbeams.

When your dreams manifest, take the shape down. Burn the paper in a fire-safe dish. If you can’t use the element of Fire, bury the paper and use the element of Earth.
